"Here, I've made some changes to the list. This is everything we know about the Vipers so far. I've added whoever Nightshroud was battling as ???, because we don't know his name yet.

 

1. Damion Maxwell

Relations: AJ's brother, possible tension?

Deck: Gladiator Beasts*

Appearances in Ultima Academy: New student introduction in lesson.

Students battled: Won against an Obelisk student (name unknown).

 

2. Miya Yamanoshi

Relations: None known

Deck: Aztec Gods

Appearances in Ultima Academy: Chatting to several academy students, most open of the Shadow Vipers, lost against AJ.

Students battled: Lost against AJ (Nightshroud Deck).

 

3. Ruby

Relations: Says Peter burnt her house down and killed her son, actually did it herself, wants to kill the only witness (Peter).

Deck: Unknown

Appearances in Ultima Academy: Teleported Peter away to battle him.

Students battled: Won against Peter (Shadow Duel).

 

4. ??? DECEASED*

Relations: Non known

Deck: Zombie

Appearances in Ultima Academy: Seen in Koga's vision battling Nightshroud.

Students battled: Lost* against Nightshroud (Shadow Duel).

 

Also, Nightshroud is not a Shadow Viper, but is included in this list as a Shadow Duelist in the Academy.

Relations: Was defeated by Jaden Yuki, returned to stop the Vipers stealing his thunder, possessed AJ via the deck given to him by ???.

Deck: Red-Eyes B. Dragons

Appearances in Ultima Academy: Possessed AJ, turning him against his friends.

Students Battled: When AJ was half possessed, he battled the Shadow Viper Miya Yamanoshi and won, he also battled Crystal and lost. This unintentionally gave Nightshroud the opportunity to take full control of AJ. Also, he battles another Shadow Rider (name unknown) in Koga's second vision, and defeats* him (Shadow Game).

 

*Information is got from visions, and may be inaccurate.

OoC: I've got to go now, homework to do, so I'll finish with Koga going to do some searching on the island.

 

IC: "Well I'd better go and see if I can find any of the Shadow Riders, so I'll head off now before it gets dark. See ya!" Koga walks away, looking at his amulet.

Nightshroud: (draws) i'll activate Graceful Charity (darws 3 dscards 2) and one of the cards i disarded was my Turf Dragon, when he's sent from my hand to the grave i can destory 1 field spell, so say good-bye to Zombie World

 

Plauge: WHAT?! (Zombie World was destroyed)

 

Nightshroud: then i'll activate my Lightning Vortex by discarding my Red Eyes Wyvern (all of Plauge's monsters where destroyed, and now (holding his final card in his hand) i'll finish you, will my Dragon's Mirror spell, by removing the fusion material monsters in my graveyard from play, i can ressurect my beast, so i'll remove all 3 of my Red Eyes Black Dragon's so i can bring forth the Ultimate Dragon once more!!! (4200) hmhmhm, later Plauge. (the Shadow Viper's eyes widened, the dragons attack was a direct hit and Plauge's LP dropped to 0)

 

Nightshroud: 4400

Plauge: 0000

 

Plauge: no.....NO! i won't allow this (struggling to get up) i can't allow you to win

 

Nightshroud: save the whinning i already won, and your prize for participating (smirks) is a trip to the shadows (suddenly guaze came from the ground and constricted itself around Plauge's body, the bandages squeezed on tight preventing him from escaping)

 

Plauge: WHAT?! WHAT IS THIS?!

 

Nightshroud: spending life in eternal darkness as a mummy, it suits you

 

Plauge: SILENCE!!!!

 

Nightshroud: you first (suddenly the bandages covered Plauge's Head) have fun in the shadows, and say hi to the boy for me (he snapped his fingers and suddenly the wrapped up Plauge burst into flames, within a matter of seconds all that was left was a small pile of ash) hmph, what do you know, that was pretty fun, hahahaha!

"Ah well," said Crystal when she saw Koga walk away. She sat down and looked through her Relinquished deck she had yet to use (OoC: and construct actually). It quavered with power, power she sometimes didn't feel ready to use. It was a heavy task, having a Relinquished deck. At least he was being friendly to her....

(after defeating Plauge Nightshroud was having some thoughts) Nightshroud: although i won the Shadow Vipers must have stronger members, i must make my deck stronger, from what i gathered AJ's friend Aaron is using the Underworld deck, the Cyberdark creatures would be essentail to my deck (just then he sees Crystal at the Slifer dorms) hm, this may work to my advantage (he walks over to the Slifer female)

 

Nightshroud: you seem lonely, need some company?

"Nightshroud..." muttered Crystal when she saw him. Be careful, he is no longer AJ. Even if he tries to drag you into the Shadows, remember I am by your side... With that in mind she cautiously approached him. "Who are you to care?"

Aaron had been watching the duel between Plague and Nightshroud at a distance. "Both duelists were exceptionally strong. But Nightshroud's deck... it's so fast..." As he noticed Crystal drawing near, he began to get a little worried. "I hope my hunch is wrong..." he thought, leaping down the hill.

Nightshroud: (smiles) hm...... (to Crystal) i was hoping to have a 1 on 1 chat with you, but with all these inturuptions i'm afriad this just won't work, if you want to find out what i mean meet me in the forest tomorrow evening at 6, i'll give you all you need to know and come alone (Nightshroud disappeared in a burst of flames)

Crystal just stared blankly. Was Nightshroud serious? Or was it a trap to send her to the Shadows, where she would meet AJ? She didn't know what to do. Everything he had done seemed to be indicating he was against the Shadow Vipers ... but he was a Shadow Duellist ... Crystal felt her head would explode. A bright glow from her deck made her look down. The feeling of tranquility sweapt over her and everything calmed down.

 

Relax. Whether you go or not, remember my power can protect you.

 

You're right Relinquished ... I'm glad I've got you.

 

No problem at all Mistress.

 

"Koga, I think I should go. He said come alone in terms of just one human. He never mentioned anything about duel spirits," she added. "You're forgetting I've got Relinquished."

"Hmm, I admit he is quite powerful. Be careful though. Nightshroud is very powerful, and more experienced than the Vipers." Koga thought for a second. (If she does go Relinquished will protect her, but just in case...) Unseen to Crystal, Icicle Eagle came out of its card. Eagle, if she goes, follow her and report back to me if anything goes wrong. Understood, master.

"You can't. Nightshroud clearly said come alone," said Crystal. "Maybe we can just about fool Nightshroud, get his trust, understand more about him. If I've got to be a mole in order to rescue AJ, then so be it. I can't just let him be succumbed to the Shadows, helpless and alone..."
