Crystal drew. "I now Set a monster, throw two face downs and end it there."

(after the duel Damion stared at the spot where Nightshroud had been standing, he then looked down at his brother who was now unconsious on the floor, suddenly Damion walked over and picked him up, he then flung him over his shoulder)

 

Damion: don't get used to me helping you, but if i'm going to duel and defeat you (begins to walk out of the arena) you'll need to be at full stregth (takes him to the infirmary)

Kaibaman smiled slyly. "Now I'll play Lord of D. Next I'll activate Flute of Summoning Dragon. With this card I'm going to Special Summon another Blue Eyes White Dragon. Now Lord of D. attack that face down monster!"

 

"Sonic Bird! Now I will add Advanced Ritual Art to my hand."

 

"My Blue Eyes, attack that girl directly!"

 

"Not so fast! Draining shield!" Although this increased her Life Points by 3000, this was immediately gone when the other Blue Eyes attacked. Crystal groaned and fell to her knees. That blow was one strong hit. Suddenly a light came from her deck and healed the move. She got up.

 

"I'll end my go."

 

"Then it's my turn." Crystal drew. "I'll activate Advanced Ritual Art! Now by tributing a Charcoal Imparchi, I can bring out Relinquished! And now I'll activate Polymerization. By fusing Thousand Eyes Idol and Beastking of the Swamp - which I will use as a replacement for Relinquished - I can bring out Thousand-Eyes Restrict! Now your monsters can't change battle positions! I now play Queen's Knight. I will equip Lord of D. to Restrict, and one Blue Eyes to Relinquished. Now Relinquished, destroy that other Blue Eyes!"

 

"But that means both monsters will be destroyed!" cried Kaibaman.

 

"Oh no it doesn't!" yelled Crystal. "Because you forget Relinquished's ability! The equipped monster is destroyed instead of him! And now that the field is clear, Thousand-Eyes Restrict attack! Queen's Knight, get him!"

Kaibaman - 4900

--sry bout the double post, and you're not the only one, it happened in mine too

 

(once Damion got AJ to the infirmary he dropped him on the nearest bed, Miss Fontaine came out and saw AJ's condition)

 

Fontaine: oh dear, what happened to him?

 

Damion: (turns and begins to leave) he was unconsious on the Obelisk arena floor, i found him a bit ago

 

Fontaine: Damion, aren't you two brother? do you not want to stay with him? (Damion didn't answer he just silently walked out the door)

"I play Monster Reborn," said Kaibaman. At once Blue Eyes White Dragon returned to the field. "Now I'll play White Dragon Ritual. By tributing Battle Ox I can bring out Paladin of White Dragon. Now I'll tribute this card to Special Summon the third Blue Eyes White Dragon! He may not be able to attack this turn, but my other Blue Eyes can!"

 

"I don't think so Kaibaman, go Threatening Roar! You will have no battle phrase this turn!"

 

"Your go. Not that it'll help you much."

 

"We'll see about that." Crystal drew. "I play King's Knight. Because I have Queen's Knight on the field I can also play Jack's Knight. Now I'll tribute my three knights to bring out Destiny Hero Plasma! And now I'll equip one Blue Eyes on to Relinquished, and the other onto Plasma! Now I'll activate Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy that face down card. Now go, attack Kaibaman directly! And I call that game!"

 

Kaibaman collapsed onto his knees as his Life Points hit zero. The Blue Eyes roared and bent his head down. Kaibaman got back up and climbed onto the back of the dragon.

 

"The prize is yours," he said. "Follow the path and you will be able to claim the prize. Use it well, for we do not allow any foolish human to wield it." He took off and out of sight. Crystal followed his instructions and followed the path, where she eventually saw it. It was a raised stone platform in a cylinder shape. A single card lay on top. Wondering how it could be left so carelessly she picked it up ...

 

... and felt herself land back on the outside of Ultima Academy. She jumped for joy as she saw she was back. She glanced down at the card, then placed it in the Relinquished deck. At once she ran inside, hoping to find Peter or Aaron or Koga or Leo .......

AJ:.......w-where am i? for that matter.....who am i? it feels like....like something is missing, but....i don't know what..........

"Miss Fontaine..." muttered Crystal as the teacher approached.

 

"Are you Crystal?"

 

"Yes."

 

"Your friend AJ is the infirmy -" Before she could finish Crystal had cried out and dashed at the speeds of a cheetah to the infirmy, leaving Miss Fontaine staring after her. Crystal grew violent; she shoved anybody in the way out, barged up the stairs ignoring anybody coming down the opposite way, body bashed the door open and came close to knocking Peter over as she skidded to a halt beside AJ.

 

"AJ!" she cried.

????: what is this?! (suddenly the lights formed into AJ's 7 CB monsters)

 

Topaz Tiger: AJ, don't listen to Nightshroud

 

AJ: AJ? Nightshroud?

 

Anythiest Cat: that mask is Nightshroud, a dark duelist that controlled you

 

Nightshroud: you damned pests!

 

Cobalt Eagle: you must trust us, we are your deck, the Crystal Beast's do you remember us?

 

AJ: my mind is foggy, i don't remember much of anything

 

Amber Mammoth: you must remember, our power can only protect you if you believe we can

 

Emerald Tortise: the darkness is strong but we can protect you

 

Sapphire Pegasus: we are your friends AJ, we'll never abandon you in your time of need

 

AJ: i need to know what to do

 

Ruby Charbuncle: then let us guide you, once we get out we'll take you back to your friends!

 

Nightshroud: you'll never escape!!!!

"I'm sorry Pete. Wait until you hear where I went," said Crystal. She explained about the valley, her numerous duels and the card. "It seems as if the card is really powerful. I haven't looked at it yet though. Maybe I should." Suddenly the Crystal Beast deck she had shook. Without knowing why she was doing it, she took AJ's hand and placed his deck there. She fastened his hand over them, like she was hoping something would happen.....

AJ: no Nightshroud, YOU'LL NEVER ESCAPE! (suddenly the 7 CB's disappeared and a large flash of light could be seen from above, Rainbow Dragon (the real Rainbow Dragon) came from the light and appeared between the 2)

 

Nightshroud: W-WHAT?! NO! NOOOO!!! I WON'T LET THIS HAPPEN, I WON'T PERISH!!!

 

AJ: maybe not....but i can keep you under control, and here's how (Rainbow Dragon's gems began to glow one at a time, it charged the laser and fired a powerful blast at Nightshroud, there was another huge flash of light.........)

 

AJ: (eyes slowly opening and noticing his gf and Peter at his bed side, he smiles weakly and speaks) hey guys.....you miss me?

"No ... but Magical Combination would work. I just need the card for the fusion monster," said Crystal. "I don't think you've ever seen that card, Magical Combination allows me to treat that card as one Fusion Material Monster and a Polymerization as long as the other Fusion Material Monsters are in my hand or field." She heard AJ speak. "AJ! You're awake!" She pulled him into a strong bear hug, almost breaking his back and strangling him. She let go giggling. "Sorry. I've missed you."
