Kelly don't worry about Akima he'll be right behind us as soon as he gets Jared out of there." Akima ran at Jared and tackled him just as someone flew by right where Jared had been Akima turned, it was Volshec. Volshec gestured for the other vampires to back off. "You two are mine!" he said with a smile. Akima saw in his mind how strong Volshec was and whispered to Jared, "There's no way we can take him on on our own. His gift is supreme strength. He could take us out easily but the downside is he's slower so we can escape." (Back at the house.)Sam was running with the rest of the wolves to the Cullen house when he caught the scent of another vampire whose scent he didn't recognize and he changed his course.
