More flat characters will make the reader bored. You need just the right amount of both.

I'd make a love fling... but i'm scared to even do that... plus i have to introduce two characters (Princey and Icy) into the story.... so.. I'm figuring out how I'm gonna do that.. (i'd also like to mention all my character come from real life people... i suck at making up my own.. i like tweeking things)

Felix Culpa
Oh, so you're making characters out of people you know? I normally make a few characters based off the lighter and darker halves of my personality, with the occasionally random pop-in of a friend or that person's personality exemplified. crimsonwendy
I Write all kinds of stories. Love Stories are great reading, but I have a hard time with adding them to my stories because I love history so much and it always makes me get to into the details of the plot and not remember to add in any kind of hook, like a good love story. Got any pointers?

Felix Culpa
Well, Nate, if that is your name, I would suggest adding a future love interest or current love interest to your main character's life early in the story, their relationship evolving over time. And don't worry about your love for history. The depth of your plot is important. So is the character's ability to change, because that is what your main characters do. Therefore, having evolving relationships where friends become enemies and enemies become friends.
