Yeah, wood is more like tree, but in Cantonese, we use gold instead of metal. I don't know how Mandarin people interpret it as, though.

 

But yeah, the diagrams inside that Wiki page are perfect. They're a lot better than my crappy line diagrams.

I don't know, different areas in China probably have different views on the subject and probably several folklore about the elements?

Well, we DO have over 50 different dialects in China =P... So I dunno.

Well, we DO have over 50 different dialects in China =P... So I dunno.

 

Chinese shouldn't even be counted as a single language. Its ridiculous.
