Fake Type [TAG] (Day 3: 9 supporters)

I suddenly got a crazy idea.

 

What if threads with fake types in them had to have some sort of tag, such as [Fake Type] next to the title, and there be a rule added that any thread following that tag rule must be rated fairly, and threads with fake types, but no fake type tag, can be rated down, or locked, or whatever.

 

Now, before you decide, think about the points from both sides.

 

If you like fake types:

1. They'll be rated fairly

2. You can meet more people that share an interest in fake types.

 

If you don't like fake types:

 

1. You can simply ignore the thread. It might die.

2. It'll control the amount of fake types out there, since some people don't like the little extra effort it takes to rememebr to add [Fake type] to the thread title.

As you yourself said, it curbs the number of Fake Types. It also discriminates against them. Fake Types are supposed to be treated equally and fairly, not picketed so people can CHOOSE not to rate them. Would you like it if you had to post [Pyro/Effect] at the beginning of everything thread title in Custom Cards? Then why would you wish the same on Fake Types?

With time, I' sure the tag system would vanish, and fake types might eb accepted regularly...

 

but yeah, I can see the problems (AKA< a bit more hard work)

 

But, if someone weite [Fake Types] in the title, then peopel can still go there JUST to rate it down, if they dislike fake types.

Yes, you might have a point with that. But I still think it can be too complicated, but if this will be made in a good and problemless way, I'll support to keep the Fake-Types living and fairly treated for/by the ones who like the cards.

Treating fake types fairly is more like a unspoken "rule". I say it like that because it's a more of a courtesy to look past the fake types and judge the rest of the card without bias. Either way, putting a tag in your threads isn't going to stop people who don't like fake types from posting, and neither will making an uneeded rule. No support sorry.
