DARKPLANT RISING Posted April 30, 2010 Report Share Posted April 30, 2010 Seriously, newbs ask us which is stronger, Stardust or Red Dragon Archfiend, but only Pojo botes for Red Dragon Archfiend. Lolpojo One of my friends had Road Warrior. I killed it with my Colossal, which was also 3000. Both explode. Then Colossal Fighter comes back with its attack and directly attacks, winning me the game. My friend says it's not fair, because that's weird. I tell him about the "Mystic Tomato V.S. Mystic Tomato Effect", but he doesn't listen. I give up and let him still play. I still win. Well, which is stronger? Both attacker Synchros of LV 8. If you could get out one, which is better as a splashable? Colossal gets my vote. Colossal is balanced in both ATK and DEF due to its immortal effect. -Griffin Posted April 30, 2010 Report Share Posted April 30, 2010 In fairly competitive environments, I'd say RDA since there isn't much DEF you want to attack with RDA, but when dueling against randoms on DME/DMG/Whatever, where they're likely to run plenty of random Marshmallon-like stuff, RDA is a life-saver. Both have their own points and would be used in different situations. I would probably prefer colossal more I guess but they are really about even for me. Fraz Posted April 30, 2010 Report Share Posted April 30, 2010 Summon colossal in defence, play creature swap, attack colossal and revive, attack for lots of damage and you get to keep the guy you just stole... In all honesty it doesn't matter which is better because there's no real reason not to be playing both in every extra deck, but colossal is better in most situations. There are situations in which you'd rather have Red Demon, but they're kinda situational. And now I have to apoligize to Atlus-sama for writing his name with 2 A's. Dark_Armed_Zombie Posted April 30, 2010 Report Share Posted April 30, 2010 It's pretty even between the two, I've used RDA a lot lately, when playing a friends deck, but I only have Colossal for myself. Traded my RDA a while back when I was getting back into the game, regret it so much... In decks that run a fair number of Warriors, Colossal takes the cake. 2 warriors spread between either grave gives it 3k ATK and the revive ability, making it invaluable. Red Dragon is better this format than it was a few formats ago with all the defense people keep playing.
