Weather Duelist
Oh.. well, that is what I would call a MISTAKE. a MISPRINT is where you're printing said cards and there is an error you didnt notice.

Weather Duelist
Exactly, and since currently your cards are nothing but data streaming in 1s and 0s... which is easily correctable, btw, you cannot really call them misprints, now can ya? If I made an error on my cards, I just open the card again, fix my mistake, and resave it. Arcan3
Quick note here, but an Alchemist is not a herbalist. From Wikipedia: "In the history of science, alchemy (Arabic: الكيمياء, al-kimia) refers to both an early form of the investigation of nature and an early philosophical and spiritual discipline, both combining elements of chemistry, metallurgy, physics, medicine, astrology, semiotics, mysticism, spiritualism, and art all as parts of one greater force." Alchemists should be spellcasters. Again, to quote Wikipedia: "Alchemy has always been closely connected with Hermeticism, a philosophical and spiritual system that traces its roots to Hermes Trismegistus, a syncretic Egyptian-Greek deity and legendary alchemist." Weather Duelist
Actually, alchemy was originally the first chemists, only their goal was not discovery of natural elements, but how to change any element into gold. Although they never suceeded, they did start the basis of chemistry. And it has been discovered that one of the alchemist's standard ingredients were of plant material, as they would use the biologic quality to seperate the molecules. So yeah, herbalism was a large part of Alchemy. It was believe that plant life, being so diverse, was a key to changing elements. And a word of advice... dont rely solely on what you find on the Internet, let alone Wikipedia. You do realize that Wikipedia is user-created, and usually is not verified?
Silencerleader
I realize that...I made them mostly plants because Homunculus was a plant-type...and because it would be cool to have Plant monsters.

Arcan3
First of all, turning lead to gold wasn't the only objective of alchemy. It's just the objective that got everyone excited. Plus, if you were an alchemist looking for research money, what better way was there than to say, "Hey, I'm looking to turn lead into gold."  Newton's alchemical research has been hypothesized as being what inspired his work on gravity and optics. Secondly, I never said that Alchemists didn't work with plants. My point is that calling an alchemist a 'herbalist' is incredibly inaccurate. Herbalism would be one small part of the whole here. Besides which, the fact that Alchemy is a branch of Hermetics means that it would be a magical practice. Which is why alchemists should be spellcasters and not plants. Thirdly, Wikipedia and the internet is not my sole source. You assume that because I only quoted Wikipedia that it was my only source. You are wrong in your assumption. I was merely trying to be succinct, and use a source that everyone online would be able to access. I wasn't writing a college term paper, after all. Fourth, while Homunculus is a plant type, I should point out that Golden Homunculus is a warrior type. So, it would be possible to make Homunculi of various types. I would suggest that instead of making them 'plant' types, have their affects work on cards with 'Alchemist' or 'Homunculus' in their names. For example: Immortal AlchemistEffect: When the immortal Alchemist is destroyed, special summon one monster with Homunculous in its name with 1500 attack points or less from your hand or deck in attack position.  Finally, it would be cool to have more plant monsters. There are far too few in the game.
