Mr. guy
I've always like this guy. But is there any reason to run him over ?
L0SS
Yes. Prophecy is a thing. I like LV 7 more, he's straight to the point.
Mr. guy
How does swordsman stop prophecies more than Horus?
Strider Tigerwolf
How does swordsman stop prophecies more than Horus? I'm curious about that too...Especially since Horus can activate it's effects multiple times in a chain unlike LaDD and is completely one sided. L0SS
How does swordsman stop prophecies more than Horus? Never said it did. I just said I liked it more, for completely unrelated reasons. My point is, it can still be used against them; and I think it would be easier to play in conjunction with a warrior deck, as there is a great deal of support out there. Having said that, you could possibly work Horus into a Dragon Ruler build; but I'm not sure if it would be worth the trouble.
swag swag swag swag swag s
Swordsman isn't stopped by LaDD, that's basically it.
Strider Tigerwolf
And Horus kills Ladd? Anyways I see what you mean, and yeah Horus can be built into the Dragon Ruler build without much issue as you can Search Level 6 with Blaster, Revive it from the Grave with Redox, Search it with Tempest...it just has a lot of support going for it. And when do you Normal Summon in Dragon Rulers besides LaDD and Horus (or a rogue Monarch)?

And even if it isn't useful at the time, all those discard shenanigans keep it from being dead. Gonna try this out against dem Prophecies (and just generally). Sora1499
They both have great art, so you can't base your decision on that... Swordsman stops Tower and Star Hall whereas Horus can't do jack squat about em once they're out.
Sleepy
They have different uses, surprisingly. Horus is more usable in Dragon Rulers as said above, and he grows up in a much easier manner. Silent is Continuous, so it seals the cards without your opponent being able to respond, plus random Honest and RotA. Also, is not immune to Level-up! if you use it. Silent Swordsman is a DAT ART card. Horus is as well, but Swordsman is my personal favorite. Even before the Xyz era, when I tried using them, most people always told me they preferred Horus, but many more people were less capable of taking down Silent than Horus. Go figure.... Not-so-Radiant Arin
Desu. Silent Swordsman doesn't negate the activation, which I think makes it slightly less useful than Horus.
evilfusion
Desu. Silent Swordsman doesn't negate the activation, which I think makes it slightly less useful than Horus. In the sense that players can still activate Spell Cards, especially Continuous ones, and those cards don't do anything until Swordsman leaves the Field, whereas Horus kills those cards, but can't touch them if they're already active, yeah. evilhorus
I love when people talk about Horus. It makes me feel like they're talking about me. It's great fun, but outclassed. At least it has beautiful art.
