You can only use this effect of "Netherworld Life Barrier" once per turn.

  • The target cannot be Set or activate its effect(s) and its effects on the field are negated.
  • Your opponent cannot Summon any monsters with the same Type and/or Attribute as the target.

If this card would be destroyed while there are unoccupied Spell/Trap Card Zones on their side of the field, your opponent gains control of it instead.
