Name: Naat Kittenstouch

Years Played: 11

Level:
113

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Class: Unholy Servant (Priest/Necromancer)
8ac5fc45.jpg

Naat often wears singlets/short-sleeved tops and shorts, opting to have no armor as it doesn't matter since he's already so fragile. When casting dark magic, his green eyes turn a blood red and his teeth become spiky and sharp. If he uses an illusion to look intimidating, he makes himself appear as a dark blue, beast-like demonic character.
D28037h.png
In one word: Memorable.

Naat is someone that loves to grab the attention of his allies, and make them happy with his twisted humor. His enemies however, not so much, since he's playing as the most fragile class in the game (Priest/Necromancer). Due to this, he avoids fighting unless absolutely 100% necessary. He doesn't have to much of an opinion on serious matters, so when he fights, it isn't for anything like pride or honor, but rather for whatever his boss tells him to.

Most healer or support characters are seen as "forgettable", "mostly useless", and "boring to fight alongside". Naat counters this stereotype by earning respect among his peers through completing difficult quests alone and always doing something when in a party. He gets along with other members of the Undertakers just fine, until he starts doing the "2Spoopy Dance"; summoning his minions and making them dance alongside his using the in-game commands, which is something he does when he's mad or annoyed.
Back when Naat was a twelvie, he started the game alongside his twelvie friends in the "Kittenstouch Klan", their special guild. Everyone in the group was given the name Kittenstouch to show they were one big family. After his friends stopped playing he quickly realized what a dumbass he had been for joining the guild, and he had to live with the shame of the name Kittenstouch. The Undertakers gained interest in Naat when they saw him, a Priest/Necromancer (The most frail class combonation in the game), traversing the Deadlands alone.

• Tome of Underlying Darkness: A book that allows the user to enchant allies with powers of darkness, making the enchanted stronger, yet slightly slower. A user equipped with this tome can project illusions at the cost of their own life force. Naat found this book on an otherwise empty bookshelf in the Kittenstouch Klan's home base, after all the other members of the guild stopped playing.
 • Waterdark Quarterstaff: A simple two-handed weapon that inflicts additional damage to light and fire-based creatures. While equipped wit this weapon, the user can manipulate small amounts of water or shadows. The only weapon he carries, which he uses only in absolutely desperate times.
 • Metal Cloak: An accessory introduced in the Sands of Time expansion through a special event. It reduces loss of concentration in harsh weather, and reduced damage from acid. Since it is a cosmetic piece with bonus effects (as most event items are), it doesn't actually count as armor, with would otherwise impair Naat.
• Nullarmor x2: A special trait given to both Necromancers and Priests which greatly boosts their resistance against magical damage if they wear no armor.
 • Chant of the Slaves: When a Necromancer summons a minion, that minion is invincible for 3 seconds.
Naat doesn't attack, unless he's in an absolute life or death situation by himself, without minions or party members. When he's going at a dungeon solo, he summons minions to fight for him, and boosts them with powerful enchants that greatly raise their striking power. When fighting alongside other players, he enchants them with whatever dark magic seems relevant, and creates illusions to draw the attention away from them so they can get a few easy hits in.
• In D&D Online, I do actually have a series of characters with the last name Kittenstouch. Don't judge me, the name came from a name generator.

"I've no business with slowpokes like you. Now move, or I'll erase your ass from history."

x393wz.jpg
Personal Information
x393wz.jpgName: Lira (リラ)
Epithet: Grim Reaper, Soulless Horsewoman
Age of Appearance: Late Teens
Sex: Female
Race: Dullahan
Years Played: 13 Months
x393wz.jpg
uR0qgnP.jpg
Standing at a mere 156 CM, Lira's in-game persona does not really coincide well with the image of someone bearing the epithet "Grim Reaper". Physically, Lira's self can be seen as that of an attractive young girl, with a face falling more into the 'cute' end of the spectrum as opposed to the 'sexy'. Being a Dullahan though means that some peculiarities exist in her appearance. For one, her skin appears a ghastly pale blue, as common in her race. Additionally, a mark that appears similar to stitching is present around her neck, though it is usually a covered with a choker or something.

Being a Dullahan, Lira possesses a detachable head. Usually it doesn't take a whole lot to knock her head off, often just a full-force blunt impact to her face is enough to send her head flying. Additionally, she can detach and re-attach her head by herself without much difficulty, provided her body and head are not separated far enough to the point where they can't see each other. Oddly, it seems Lira's body does not get affected much in her headless state, still able to move around normally without missing a single beat. Lira notes that taking off her head cures her of stiff necks in the morning.

Clothing-wise, Lira is typically seen under a drab black hooded cloak that gets more tattered towards the bottom. Under the cloak, the outfit she wears is rather flashy and revealing, though that comes with a particularly good reason. Lately, she has gotten fascinated with getting the 'tattoo' customization item. Since she's rarely taken off her cloak completely, her guildmates haven't gotten the opportunity to yet know whether she's actually wearing clothes or if it is simply a tattoo coating.
x393wz.jpg
When one hears Lira's name, various images of her are conjured. However, they one thing that all these images have in common, is that Lira is a dangerous, deadly and deeply destructive character. Of course, why wouldn't the public perceive her as such a person? After all, her nicknames all describe the image of a heartless killer. Of course, these nicknames are not formed on baseless conjecture.

The individual known as Lira, a.k.a One Who Is Abhorrent, a.k.a Grim Reaper, is indeed a cold-blooded killer. Not just that, she's also a killer who's not afraid to take her own teammate's life it means ensuring her survival. Of course, she hasn't always been like that. Various circumstances occurred in the past that caused irreparable damage to her psyche and morality. Well, killer tendencies aside, Lira herself as a person definitely doesn't live up to her image.

For one, she's a lot more talkative and emotional than traditional Grim Reapers in fiction. In fact, if one were to talk to her without knowing anything about her, they'd think she's more of a confused delinquent. Rude, abrasive and generally not very sociable, Lira tries to avoid as much human interaction as possible, usually by staying away from the presence of others and brooding by herself, even though she's lately been able to do this less and less thanks to her new guildmates.

Despite her sinister appearance, Lira is actually quite hotblooded and lively, preferring to jump into situations without much thinking, although this could be attributed to the large amount of confidence she has in her abilities. To her, a lot of scenarios and dangers has simply become mere toys to her. Simply put, she has the eyes of someone who no longer has anything to lose, and as such there's a large amount emptiness in them that one normally wouldn't see in most other "kill for fun"-type individuals.

x393wz.jpg
Combat Information
x393wz.jpg
Category: Speed
Race: Dullahan
Class: Reaper
Level: 107
x393wz.jpg
Stealthy. Like an assassin, almost. Lira's fighting style relies on her blitzing speed and dexterity with her large scythe, which, combined with her ability to phase through solid objects, makes her a difficult mess to fight against. Lira's definitely the fragile speedster type. Though it's damn near impossible for one to actually hit her due to her speed and ability, she's low on HP and can be taken care of quite easily with a few clean hits. Additionally, when fighting, she most often aims for the neck, so, be careful with that.

Reaper combat info
Reapers come as the default class for Dullahans, but is also available for other races. Being one of the slower speed-based classes, Reapers combine powerful critical-dealing attacks with high speed, at the cost of naturally low base damage. The weapon class for Reapers is locked only to scythes, but high-leveled Reapers can gain access to other polearms as well. As for armor, well, they don't really wear any. They can wear light protective garbs, but nothing that can actually grant sizable protection. To compensate, they can use powerful buff/debuff spells.
Strengths: High crit damage, Moderate-high crit rate for powerful Reapers, high speed, buff/debuff.
Weaknesses: Low base damage, low HP, low defense, no actual armor to speak of.
x393wz.jpg
Demon's Scythe - Scythe of Israfil <Medium Weapon Type - Scythe>: An ornate, dangerous scythe that is said to have dark killing intent stored in it. Originally belonging to the angel of death known as 'Israfil', the scythe is weightless when used by its true user. Of course, being forged by heavenly beings, the things it cannot cut are close to none. Gives a boost to DEXTERITY and AGILITY.
Black Nanofibers <Accessory - Special>: May only be equipped to a Dullahan. Adds a black string around the user's neck, which stops the head from falling off completely if knocked off. Prone to snapping. Re-equip every 7 days.
x393wz.jpg
《Soulless》 : A unique passive skill all Dullahans possess, this ability allows their kind to pass through solid objects, so long as they do not focus towards it. If one is not used to this ability, they won't be able to interact normally with various objects, and thus takes a while to get used to it. Limitations exist, however. The user cannot pass through humans nor the ground, and they are still suspect to energy-based attacks. Lira is adept enough at this skill to keep it active for the duration of the battle, able to easily pass through weapons while she lines up for her death blow.
《Empty Walk》: Dullahans do not make footstep sounds.
《Flickering Soul》: Advanced skill for high-leveled rogues and thieves. Basically allows them to release a sudden burst of speed enough to make it seem like they teleported over a short distance. This is normally accompanied by a whooshing sound, but as Dullahans do not make footstep sounds, Lira's Flickering Soul is much more silent than normal.
《Various Buff and Debuff Spells》: Lira possesses a multitude of buff and debuff spells, though she most often uses debuffing spells that slow the target down. Other spells in her arsenal include an attack buff, attack debuff, temporary adrenalin boost (basically like the ones in L4D) and so on. She prefers not to resort to her buff/debuffs, though.
《Great Demon's Purge》: Super Rare high-level Reaper skill. When she kills a monster, player or anything, a small bit of their power is stored within her, that can later be released to temporarily give her a power boost. When activated, her level temporarily spikes up, sometimes to level 150. Physically, her green eyes turn sulfuric yellow while her sclera turns black. Aside from levelling herself up (which in turns makes her even faster and stronger), this ability doesn't do that much, but it does give her a kickass blood-red aura.

-Character Image Song: Marry me, nightmare
-Despite being a bit of an antisocial psychotic killer, she's still a girl at heart.
One of the new races that was added on the D-Day expansion. Like the name suggests, this race is inspired from the Dullahans of Irish mythology, most often associated with the Headless Horseman. The biggest feature this race promises is the ability to have a detachable head. Oh, and a passive skill of being able to pass through solid objects, too. Physically, Dullahans are identical to humans. Aside from having a much lighter and paler skin tone by default (which can be fixed using the character customization), they really don't look much different from ordinary humans. They do however, screw with the mechanics a bit. Since they are technically ghosts, Dullahans have unique, mostly aesthetic features other races don't posses. For example, when they walk, they don't produce footsteps.
Strengths: Able to pass through solid objects, soundless walking, higher dark magic affinity, detachable head
Weaknesses: Difficult to master, no real strengths or weaknesses to anything, detachable head

Ahhh, I wasn't going to but I might have come up with an idea. So I might be putting up an app later today.

Just one question...what level of insanity am I allowed here...?
ls6YEWF.jpg?1

"Nothing tastier than a cup of pain with a side of agonized screams, teehee~"

Name: Bloody Mary

Years Played: 5

Level: 140

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Class: Blood Mage
RToejQC.jpg?1

Please ignore the spear, thank you.

Standing at five foot four, Mary isn't a very tall character when compared to some of the practical amazons in the game. She's slender with slight curves in "all the right places". She looks soft when in a neutral mood, though her features can twist into more unnatural expressions on a whim. The dress she wears doesn't offer much protection, though more than it would appear, but she likes the way it looks so she keeps it.

Her wide, reddish, eyes may seem attractive at first but due to her habit of staring for more than would seem possible they can quickly seem creepy. Look too long into them and you may feel a slight tug of madness yourself.
Mary only wants to have fun, that isn’t too much to ask right? Of course it isn’t, at least, it wouldn’t be if she wasn’t totally batshit crazy. Mary’s idea of a good time is to cause as much physical and emotional pain as she can. She is both a sadist and a masochist. She delights in others pain just as much as her own. Unhinged is putting it lightly, she can go from quiet and polite to spouting absolute nonsense to giggling while she stabs you in the guts over and over within a matter of moments.
That being said, Mary is an intelligent little psychopath. She knows how to manipulate people when she needs to, and she realizes that she can't make it very far in this world on her own. Therefore she makes sure that nothing too terrible happens to her guildmates. Though that doesn't stop her from having a little fun when she gets a chance. Completely unphased by sexual advances, seeing as her tastes in regards to that particular area are what one might call bizarre.
Mary has been in many different guilds in her relatively short time in the game. She kept bouncing around different guilds, who took her in because of her unique class, which not many people took due to the difficulty of early game leveling, and/or because of her cute avatar. She spent many many hours in the game, leveling up in the quickest ways she could, often piggy-backing off of higher leveled players. Though she was skilled enough to hold her own, the class she chose tended to have difficulty by itself. However each of the guilds eventually kicked her out once they realized how crazy she really was. She often would enact a bit of revenge before leaving.

Eventually she found the Undertakers, and was ecstatic to find a guild that seemed to suit her perfectly, she rushed to endear herself to the guild master and prove her usefulness and eventually was allowed in.
Silver Dagger: A simple silver dagger that has had enchantments up the wazoo and is now top of the line as far as more common weapons go.

Spiked Choker:  A necklace accessory studded with spikes. Blood Mage item. Increases the health uses up by spells but also increases their power.

Clawed Gauntlet: Meant to be a vanity item, this gauntlet can be used for melee attacks once the game isn't a game anymore.
Prefers to keep a distance at first, but likes to close the gap to watch her enemy die. Not always the best strategy but no one said Mary was a master tactician.
Blood whip: Creates a whip out of blood, which can bind enemies and do low damage.

Blood spike: A projectile attack, which deals massive damage to one enemy, sending out a foot long spike of hardened blood.

Minor Blood Rage: Capable of being activated while at half health or lower, greatly increases physical abilities temporarily, however makes magic unusable.

Curse Person: A general term for a spell that lays a Curse on an opponent, with various negative effects. Such as damage over time, slowed, temporary blindness
When she gets bored she tends to cut herself and make patterns with the blood.
Adores stuffed animals, though sometimes she is a bit violent with them.
She let slip that Mary was indeed her real name and the rumor spread, but everyone who was there for the original slip up are gone now, no one is sure where they went.

Doesn't seem to blink much.

iU8EggM.png
Name: Mary Bourque

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Appearance: Surprisingly enough, Mary actually resembles her in-game avatar nearly to a tee. Except she has blue eyes.

Personality: Yep, same crazy girl. Though much more careful about revealing it irl

Bio: Mary's father was a businessman known for doing whatever it took to close a deal. Whatever it took. Which included bringing his daughter over to convince those he was dealing with, usually this involved flirting and occasionally something a little more. She didn't really mind the manipulation, but she hated to be touched and developed a disgust of the narrow-minded piggishness and lack of imagination of the men she was dealing with. She fantasied about killing them in many brutal ways to make the job go by easier. It also had the bonus effect of making her seem more excited to be there.

The internet gave her an out, a way to vent her true feelings and desires without fear of repercussion.

Alright, so Aix and I found a suitable map for the world of this RP (not the world of Lumenia).  It's late for both of us so we'll fill in the blanks that were left tomorrow.  We're moving steadily toward being IC-ready, so anyone who hasn't finished their app or has yet to post it should get on that.  Additionally, anyone who needs to discuss any elements of their characters with me should make this a priority at their earliest convenience; we'll be closing up applications not long after the IC starts (with one plot-based exception from me), so you have been warned.

We'll launch the IC once Aix and I do the detail work on the map and I write the post, so probably sometime in two or three days.
Name: Aria

Years Played: 4.5

Level:
142

Gender: Female

Race: Human, because why not.

Class: Knight of Ruin (Warlock, Templar, Evil)
ZaoUKbP.jpg?1

Aria, as a human female, stands at around 5'9", with a slightly athletic build and slightly paler than normal skin tone. She generally gives off of a tomboyish kind of vibe as her hair is kept short and her clothes always being somewhat on the sporty side.
Aria is a friendly and approachable person, with the patience of a saint and a love for all living, (and non-living as it may be,) beings in the world...Or at least that's what she'd like to think. While she doesn't act anti-social, she is most definitely a crass individual, just sort of saying whatever comes to her no matter how blunt or rude it may be. Furthermore, she is a person who has a particularly short fuse, often times getting into fights simply because she took something, whether trivial or not, the wrong way and neither party ends up backing down. She is someone who has a sense of reckless abandon to her, not completely thinking about her actions before doing them, and often disregarding any thoughts she might have had regardless.

However, her patience rises considerably as well as her respectfulness in the presence of the Cerberus Heads and the leader of the guild. Easily fitting the bill for a fangirl of theirs, she looks up to them with about as much admiration that a child might to their inspirational hero. As such, she often times stop focusing on anything else when they are in the immediate area, and listens intently to what they say. Despite this attentiveness, Aria's forgetful nature still gets the better of her most times, generally forgetting at least one part of any orders given to her and generally replacing it with something that "makes more sense" in her head.
Someone who didn't really see the appeal to the game at first, for the first year of playing, Aria just sort of went on with it due to the addictive nature of MMOs rather than any real interest in the game itself. However, something had managed to keep her interested. While she had known of the Undertakers for awhile, she never paid them much mind until the day that she had seen a cerberus head in action. Watching someone such as them fight, Aria had quickly become enamored with them and made the executive decision that she would one day join them in order to become someone who could fight alongside such amazing people. With that in mind, it was all just hard devotion to the game of Lumenia for years to come.
• Nexial Dusk: A two handed staff that is usable by warlocks only. It gives additional damage to all dark attribute spells cast through it, in addition to giving any summoned creature extra evasion chance.
 • Savior's Rebuke: A two handed spear that was dropped by a boss from the D-Day expansion. In addition to providing the user with extra agility, every time it strikes an opponent it applies a stack on the target. When five stacks are applied on a opponent, they receive 50% reduced healing, (from all sources) for the next 4 seconds. This may then not be applied on the same target for the next 10 seconds. Stacks vanish after 5 seconds, though applying a new stack refreshes the timer.
 • Abyss Walker: A set of light armor that she currently wears. While it does not provide much in raw defense stats, in provides a large amount of resistance towards anything with the dark attribute, in addition to increasing the damage of any dark attacks the user uses.
Aria's patron god for her Templar class is Apophis, Evil God of Darkness and Chaos.

Aria's mount is Snuffles, an armored boar demon acquired from a quest that was part of the D-Day Expansion.
• Lay on Hands: A generic templar skill. The user channels the divine energy of their god into their hands. This takes the form of glowing light within their hands that changes in color dependent on their god, (in Apophis's case it is a black and purple color.) The user then places their hands on a target, and if their target is of the same alignment as them it heals, and if opposite then it deals damage.
 •  Malevolent Serpent's Fang: The user channels the energy of Apophis onto their weapon. It makes  the targeted weapon glow with a purple hue and makes all attacks with it considered dark attribute. When a target is struck with the buffed weapon, it leaves a DOT poison effect on them for two seconds. Consecutive hits do not stack timer, though they do refresh it.
 • All Consuming Shadow: A skill unique to Templars of Apophis. The user channels divine energy into their weapon and thrusts it forward, causing a large shadow snake to extend out from the weapon and bite at the enemy. The bite causes dark attribute magic damage that puts on a 15 second poison effect on the target. This skill is gained at level 15 and the user unleashes an additional head alongside the first one for every 15 levels they possess, (Aria at this time would be able to strike with nine of them at once.) The poison timer for consecutive hits of this attack does stack.
 • Rain of Ruin: A high level dark warlock spell. The user summons swords made of darkness that hover behind them, and are then launched, rapid fire, at the caster's targets.
UmvZtTK.png

"I pray to the skies, they answer."

Personal Information:

Name: Seraph

Epithet: Messenger of the Skies, Fallen Angel

Years Played: 23

Level: 150

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Class: Devout Minstrel

Rank: Elite
[In-Game]

Seraph is quite the appealing character. Youthful in appearance, his skin has a beautiful glossy tone that is not marred by blemishes or scars. Fairly diminutive in stature, Seraph stands only at 5'4" and while toned, boasts little muscle. He wears a blue, leather cuirass that bares ornamentation that is reminiscent of Oriental culture. On his back is a uniquely crafted item that bares semblance to a small wing that sticks up over his right shoulder. He wears fingerless gloves that extend pass the wrist, stopping about an inch and a half before the elbow. Finally, he dons a white sash around his waist that depicts organic illustrations, similar to those depicted on his cuirass.
Seraph has long since lost touch with reality. Logging more time in-game than almost any other surviving player, Seraph cannot distinguish the world of Lumenia from the world that he is only barely visited in the last twenty plus years. The game lore became lessons of history. Fictional characters became his friends. The delusion that this game is real is all encompassing has completely erased the person Seraph used to be.

Seraph is a devout follower of the god Anshar. Depicted as an androgynous Lord of the Sky, Seraph often talks to the sky and air as if he conversing with the deity. So too does he believe that images in the clouds are a way for Anshar to communicate with him, thus he often stares up at the sky in hopes of deciphering a message from the sky god.

As you could probably guess, it often seems like Seraph has his head in the clouds and has quite the aloofly content demeanor. He does not tend to get anxious or worry about the future as he believes that anything that will come will be because Anshar wills it. To some, Seraph's personality is quite frustrating and can quite quickly make someone lose their patience.
Seraph's history is quite extensive, spanning just a few years short of the game's existence. After his third year playing, Seraph began to show signs of dissociative fugue, resulting in him abandoning his life in the real world and committing wholeheartedly to his life in-game.

In his 23 years playing, Seraph has been in numerous guilds. He joined them for he thought it was the will of Anshar, a deity that had once been considered benevolent and good. Thus, the first 12 years of his gaming experience he spent aligned with the forces of good. However, after the release of the expansion pack D-Day, a new chapter had been written in the lore books. Anshar had offended several of the other gods by trying to meddle with fate and thus was cast down, changing his alignment from a benevolent god to one of wrath and malevolence.

Seraph, a faithful servant, continued to follow Anshar's will. He cut ties with all of the good aligned guilds he had been a part of and joined the largest PvP guild in the game, the Undertakers. He has been with the guild for 11 years and has steadily increased in rank.
Seraph, after 23 years of playing, is a skilled and knowledgeable player. He boasts a wide array of buffs and debuffs that he uses to maximize his battle proficiency. His preferred method of battle is to keep his enemies at bay whilst slowly eating away at their health. He is notorious for using his <Hell-Bound Choir> to combo <Swan Song> and <Anshar's Hymnal: Sky's Mercy> to outlast his opponents as they succumb to an inevitable defeat. Should his opponents come within striking distance, he is armed with a powerfully enchanted dagger that he can use to defend himself while he puts some distance between himself and his attacker.
Anshar's Hymnal: Fallen from Grace: A skill that is specific to <Devout Minstrel>'s following the path of Anshar, this particular spell was added to Anshar's Hymnal book following his fall from grace after the D-Day Expansion Pack was added. Acting as a powerful area buff for evil aligned players, those that hear this melody have all of their combat stats bolstered by 20%, if said player had once been good aligned their stats are increased by 30%, and attacks targeting good aligned players ignore all defensive buffs applied through enchantment and magical means. These buffs only apply as long as the song is played, approximately 3 to 4 minutes. If the song is interrupted or the musician cannot finish it, evil aligned players that were affected have all their stats drop by 10% for the next thirty minutes.

Anshar's Hymnal: Sky's Mercy: A skill that can be learned by those of the Bard class after visiting one of Anshar's temples or shrines. Allies within 30 meters of the player, including said player, have their health regenerate 20% faster. If the player is wearing any  of the <Cloud Bearer's Armor Set> mana and stamina regenerate 20% faster, in addition to their health.

Swan Song: A high level Bard class skill, this spell drains the user's health and enemy players that hear the song have their health drained by the same amount. Note: This spell can kill the user if they are not careful.

《Wind's Whistle》: A single note played on a Bard's respective instrument, charged with the elemental power of the wind that inflicts damage upon enemies in range(approximately 3 meters in front of the user). If this skill is used by players aligned with any sky or weather deity it also has a knockback effect. Skilled bards can string this attack one after another to inflict a devastating amount of damage on enemies.

SmiteA skill available to high-level Templars, they call upon the power of their respective deity to inflict damage on a single target. Depending on the player's divine path, this attack may be attribute based. Additionally, the execution and appearance of this attack varies from player to player for the same reason. In Seraph's case, he calls upon Anshar to destroy his enemies with a bolt of lightning.

Hell-Bound Choir: The evil aligned version of the skill <Heavenly Choir>, this skill allows Bard class players to perform up to 3 different musical pieces at once with the help of up to 2 <Minor Hellspawns>. These summoned demons boast low defensive stats and if targeted can be destroyed quickly by higher leveled monsters and players.

Stormfront: A skill that is exclusive to Anshar's Templars, the player summons a dense fog that hides themselves and allied players. For Templars that are level 100 or higher, enemies caught in the fog take lightning based damage.

Invocation of Anshar: A skill learned when a Templar of Anshar reaches level 150. Invoking the power of the Sky God, their divine form appears to aid their ally in battle, able to inflict massive damage in the form of storm and weather based attacks. This ultimate power rivals the abilities and skill of the strongest warrior-based players. Due to its powerful nature, this skill can only be used once every 48 hours and afterwards, the user's mana and stamina are reduced by 50% for an hour(this effect applies as soon as the form of Anshar leaves the battle).

Steed of Anshar: An ability gifted to those that earn the <Devout> achievement under the divine path of Anshar. The user summons Anshar's personal mount.
Cloud Bearer's Cuirass <Light>: Obtained by completing the <Trials of Anshar> quest line. Granting the wearer very little in the way of physical defense, it bears an enchantment that delivers the <First Blessing of Anshar>. This enchantment increases the wearer's health dramatically.

Cloud Bearer's Sash <Light>: Obtained by completing the <Trials of Anshar> quest line. This piece of armor bears an enchantment that delivers the <Second Blessing of Anshar>.  This enchantment increases the wearer's stamina moderately.

Cloud Bearer's Flute <Instrument>: Obtained by completing the <Trials of Anshar> quest line. This instrument increases the wielder's magical skills dramatically and increases the effectiveness of weather based and wind attribute spells by 15%.

Angel's Wing <Accessory>: Equipped on the back of the wielder, this item increases the wearer's speed and grants the wearer the ability of flight.

Cloud Bearer's Dagger <One-Handed Weapon>: a powerful weapon that delivers the <Third Blessing of Anshar> to the wielder. This enchantment increases the damage dealt by the dagger by 25% for each <Cloud Bearer> item in their inventory, including itself.

Other Information:

> Image Credit goes to dA user Ernz1318

> Seraph owns a mansion on A'kir and a top of the line airship.

> Seraph is incredibly wealthy, as he should be after playing for over 20 years.
Bard

Unpopular with most players, the Bard class is a unique magic-based class that requires a large amount of dedication to utilize effectively. At lower levels, bards tend to only be able to cast a limited pool of buffs and debuffs, unable to fill any necessary role in an attack party. Once a bard reaches higher levels, their versatility and usefulness skyrocket. Gaining access to a wide array of spells that they can cast using their instrument as a conduit, a bard can become a powerful back-line fighter.

Strengths: affinity for magic, wide array of spells at higher levels.

Weakness: reliant on their instruments to cast most spells, requires dedication to use with any proficiency, limited to one-handed weapons(excluding instruments)
isabella_by_zoidsfan507-d4l0q8a.png

"Let's go you yellow-bellied pansies!"

Personal Information:

Name: Captain_Swan

Epithet: Plague of the Skies and Sea

Years Played: 5 years

Leve: 136

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Class: Corsair, Necromancer

Rank: Captain
elders_floating_temple__isabella_by_zoid

[Serpent Scale Armor]

A proud and confident woman, Swan stands at decent height of 5'9" and is built of hardened, lean muscle. She walks with an air of confidence and importance that is common amount ship captains. Her skin is naturally dark and has been further tanned by her time on the deck of her ship. Sheathed on her back are a pair of cutlasses and she wields a pair of flintlock pistols that are holstered at her hip.
Swan is loud and crude, demanding the attention of all those around her. With the mouth of a sailor, she is quick to offend but usually has good intentions. While her ethics may be questionable, she has a sense of honor that is common among thieves and pirates. Those that are bested by Swan may curse her name and spit on her boots, but they can't say she didn't at least give them a fair fight. That being said, she is a savage fighter that fights with a ferocity that is worthy of a berserker.

Like most pirates, Swan has a knack for drinking too much and is often the life of the party. She can drink just about anyone under the table. When drunk she is even louder and more brash than usual, often landing her trouble. Of course, she gets into trouble while sober too, so I suppose that isn't really saying too much.
Swan's name is feared in both the skies and seas. Renowned as one of the world's greatest pirates, she has amassed quite the fortune through sinking ships and plundering towns. Naturally she landed in the largest PvP guild that the game had to offer, making her name all the more fear-inspiring. So, while she may not be level 150 yet, on the open seas or skies even the strongest of players should fear the sails of her ship.

Recently, Swan has upgraded to an undead crew and has really started to perfect her skills as a Necromancer. She has even been thinking about asking Lucifer to give her the gift of vampirism, believing it would give her the edge she needs to truly rule the sky and sea.
Swan is not one for subtlety or finesse. She attacks most any problem head on, recklessly rushing into battle with her blades drawn. Skilled with both her cutlasses and flintlocks, she can wreak havoc on a battlefield from both close and far range. However her greatest asset is her ship and crew that she uses to overwhelm and devastate her opponents. This causes her to prefer battling in an open area where she can easily call upon her ship and crew.
Spell-Shattering Barrage

"Enough of that fancy magic, ya cowards."

a skill in which the user imbues their bullets with the ability to destroy wards, remove buffs, and drain mana from their target. This comes at a cost, reducing the actual damage the bullets inflict by 50%, but can be used to cripple magic and support-based enemies.

Ready the Cannons!

"We've got'em now, send their asses to the Dutchman's Crypt!"

a skill that can be used in one of two ways. If the player is aboard a vessel equipped with ranged weaponry or is near said vessel, a barrage of cannon-fire will pepper the surrounding landscape. This attack does not discriminate, hitting friend and foe alike. If the player does not have access to an armed vessel, a single cannon is conjured at their side, delivering a single blast that can be devastating one-on-one.

Drunken Frenzy

"Whadaya mean I've had enough? I'mma jus gettin' started."

Can only be activated after consuming some form of alcohol, this buff  dramatically enhances the user's attack stats but weakens their defense and lowers their accuracy.

Skull and Crossbones

"Even Davey Jones is on my payroll, ya bastards."

A spell that is exclusive to Corsair/Necromancer type players. The user summons up to 5 Skeletal Pirates, armed to the teeth with cutlasses, daggers, and pistols. The number of Skeletal Pirates that can be summoned increases to 10 if the player is within 20 meters of their ship. Additionally, this includes a passive ability that causes low-leveled/weak-willed monsters and players to flee upon seeing the vessel's flag.

Treasure Hunter

"f*** this s***, I'm here for the gold."

A passive ability that is exclusive to the corsair class that increases the amount of gold found by 15% and increases the number of rare item drops from enemies by 10%.

First Mate

"This is my right hand man."

This is a skill that is exclusive to the Corsair class and can only be learned after obtaining the Pirate Captain rank. The user summons their first mate to aid them in battle. Should the first mate be killed, they return to the ship. This ability can only be used once every 24 hours. The user of this ability can also send their First Mate back to the ship at any time.
Serpent Scale Armor:a medium-armor set that is occasionally dropped after the boss fight in the <Ocean's Wrath> quest line. It increases a player's resistance to water-based elemental attacks and reduces magic damage by 10%. Additionally, it gives the wearer the unique ability of being able to breathe underwater.

Ebony & Ivory:a rare pair of flint-lock pistols that can be found in a hidden chest aboard the <Flying Dutchman> that can only be entered during the quest <Shaving Black Beard>. These pistols have a faster fire rate than any other firearm in the game. Additionally, each pistol is enchanted with the unique attributes. Ebony, the black pistol, deals dark attribute damage and has a 20% chance of poisoning the target. Ivory, the white pistol, deals light attribute damage and when fired on allies restores 10% of their health.

Pirate Master's Cutlasses: dual cutlasses that can only be obtained by achieving the rank of Pirate Captain(only obtainable through the Corsair class). Aside for the higher damage output than normal cutlasses, these blades are otherwise unremarkable.

The Black Plague: a ship that can be sail in both air and water, The Black Plague is among the highest classes of vessels. Equipped with massive firepower, able to turn on a dime, and able to outpace any other ship, The Black Plague is feared even by other pirates. The ship is manned by a crew of undead workers and thus does not suffer from the limited stamina possessed by the crew that most other vessels have.

Yes, Lumenia was a VRMMORPG; virtual reality means you're more or less in the game.  However, most of the RP won't be taking place in-game.  As for the class, if you're referring to the class from your first app, I added it into the doc a few days ago.  If you mean you're going to a new app, I'm going to say that you should hold on that.

That goes for the rest of you too.  Any apps that aren't up yet, you should not put in the OOC until further notice.  The IC is about to launch and we've already got a much bigger cast than I was expecting, but there will definitely be chances to introduce new characters as the RP progresses further and further in.  I'm going to update the thread title accordingly in just a moment.  WIP apps, you have until the world shift (I'll announce it in the OOC as well whenever I post it IC) to finish your app.  Anything you couldn't get done in that time isn't my problem at that point.  If your app is finished and I haven't stated here or in the Skype chat that it's accepted, and it's not listed in the OP, please notify me as soon as possible so that I can review it.

So are the characters just gonna talk for a while until Black Rose does?

Yui is gonna be doing the shift into the other world after some more posting I believe, and I think Aix is supposed to be the first to post after that happens.

So yeah basically. Interactions before then as long as keep in mind only have a couple minutes. So mostly just replying with a sentence or two and reaction thoughts. (see how Broken did his posts for a good example)

I could be wrong but that's what I got outta stuff.

This is more or less on the nose.  My next post (I'll make it soon) won't be the worldshift just yet, but my next one after that.
