Next: A fusion monster that helps in recycling cards (could be its materials or something else). It can not be generic.

Dragon Cannon of White/LIGHT/Machine-Type Fusion Effect Monster/Level 8/3000 ATK/2500 DEF

"XYZ-Dragon Cannon" or "ABC-Dragon Buster" + 1 Dragon monster with 2500 ATK or DEF
Must be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by banishing the above cards from your field or GY. (You do not use "Polymerization"). Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 card from your hand and/or 1 "Blue-Eyes" monster from your GY, and if you do, banish 1 card on the field that activated its effects last turn, then if you banished 3 cards with different types (Monster, Spell or Trap) by this effect, you can Special Summon 1 Level 10 or higher LIGHT monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions.

 

The flexible Dragon requirement and Contact Fusion option should fulfill the conditions for genericness, and the putting of those Dragons with the ABC-block will fulfill the gimmicky aspect. Seems workable enough, yes?

 

NEXT UP:

Let's try for a Fusion of an Archetype that combines a Rival/Protagonist's top monsters. The catch? It can't be Yugi/Joey, Jaden/Yubel or Yusei/Antimony, they've been done already.

Must first be Fusion Summoned using 2 Materials. If this card is Fusion Summoned using a "Polymerization": You can Special Summon this card's Fusion Material from the Graveyard with their effects negated. You can target 1 Xyz or Link monster on the field (Quick Effect): This card's Level becomes equal to the target's Rank or Link Rating, it becomes a non-Tuner monster, then, immediately after this effect resolves; Link or Xyz Summon, using monsters you control as Material (If your opponent controls the target, and you would use at least 2 monsters you control as Material, you can also use the target as Material). If your opponent Summons a Link monster with 1 or more Link Markers that do not point to any Zone: Ypu can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard with its effects negated, then draw 1 card. You can only activate each effect of "Ranked Tune" once per turn.

 

In terms of that revival effect, viable triggers include a Borreload in the EMZ (horizontal arrows that point nowhere) anything with BL/BR arrows Summoned on the far right (Deck is not a Zone), anything with a right arrow on the far right (Graveyard is not a Zone), or anything with a diagonal up arrow in a corner that points away from the EMZ (Say, Zeroboros on either side, instead of in the center).

This Fusion Summoned monster is unaffected by Trap effects.  This card can attack directly, but if it does by this effect, change its battle position at the end of the Battle Phase.  If this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent, all monsters you control gain 500 ATK/DEF.  While this card is in the GY during your Standby Phase: You can target 1 "Hole" Normal Trap in your GY; Set it, but shuffle it into your Deck when it leaves the field.  You can only use the effect of this card's name once per turn.

Make a fusion that recurs its materials in some way when a certain condition is met (aside from it leaving the field/getting destroyed/etc.)

Not sure if I can make this work out, but I want to keep this game moving, so....

2+ Machine-Type Monsters

This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by its own effect. Once per turn, if this monster is sent from the Extra Deck to the GY: Special Summon it, then target two Spell/Trap cards on your side of the field, return them to your hand. All cards you control cannot be targeted, destroyed, or banished by card effects. Your opponent cannot target any monsters for an attack, except this card.

ATK/0 DEF/0

Might not be the most powerful, but it tries its hardest to protect other monsters. Unfortunately, it can still be destroyed by battle, so you'll have to find another way to protect it. This card is only really powerful in gimmicky decks, and useless pretty much everywhere else, so I hope that fulfills the requirements.

Next:

A card which inflicts burn damage every time you gain life points (sort of like Fire Princess, if I recall correctly). The catch? It cannot be FIRE or DARK attribute, and it cannot have an effect that allows you to gain life points.
