[MtG] Hazezon: I Will Show You Fun in a Handful of Sand

Recommended Posts

Pretty standard list: drop Hazezon, get a bunch of tokens, kill people with them. Uses landfall as a significant subtheme to abuse all the ramp you're getting.

Thoughts?

Earthcraft? The card is stupid bonkers in any token deck. It makes Hazezon more or less free, or gives you mana when you cast him. You might need to put a few more basics in if you use it though. Ogre battledriver seems good in this deck too if your going aggro with it. Oh, and where's the craterhoof?

Earthcraft is significant money, so maybe Cryptolith Rite is a cheaper replacement.

Ogre Battledriver could be good, though. Only concern is I like haste granting as static effects, because then I can drop them the turn the tokens arrive and have them swing immediately: Battledriver wouldn't help for that.

Craterhoof seems like an obvious miss, eh? Truthfully I wanted to try a few wincons without him first, but maybe the deck will eventually need the extra oomph.
