Plant/WATER Archetype is awesome, Tribute based, strange, not sure why, but sure why not, interesting playstyle, surprised they don't have a Rank 6, with how easy it seems to make one with the whole Level switching.

That also surprises me. You'd think they'd have a large variety of xyz monsters, ranging from 1-8 like raidraptors, but they only have the 1 rank 8.

Also, salvage seems to work well in this deck at a first glance, given the amount of low atk water monsters in this deck.

Well there you have it, a Rank 6 as well as their Rank 8, though doesn't seem as great as the Rank 8 though.

I feel like they will get more xyz monsters over time, much like how Witchcrafters got new main deck monsters over a couple sets, given that they have quite a few varying levels and level modifying effects. The new xyz monster sure makes them a lot more complete though.

An archetype that benefits from the plant-engine AND can trigger Hieratics thus the ability to enable Guardragon-plays. BUT said strategy might be inconsistent so yeah. Overall I do LOVE their design. Elegant to say the least ❤️

I completely agree with you, this archetype is simply lovely, and the fact that it is WATER (my favorite Attribute) and lady-based is screaming to me "Build this Deck!!!" Whether this turns out competitive or not, I'm excited with the prospect. Gotta brush the dust off my Rose Lover.

The deck has decent monster effects, incredible spells and traps, and access to two of the best support types in the game, (WATER and plant). If nobody figures out a way to break this deck into the meta, then everything i know about yugioh has been a lie.

I've learned to stay a bit on the defensive and wait to see how an archetype fares when released before I get too excited about it, but for what you say now I'm looking forward to it more than before. I'm far from an expert in meta affairs, so I don't know much about plant support, but I do remember Rose Lover and a certain card called Fairy King Truesdale that give all Plants +500 ATK/DEF while in Defense Position (don't think this can be of much use in the current meta, though). Salvage, like Ultimagamer said, Mistar Boy and Moray of Greed should come in handy. Sadly, there's only 1 Level 1 card, so Surface is useless, but Bahamut Shark and Number 37: Hope Woven Dragon Spider Shark may see the light of day.

To give you a glimpse of the potential, this deck has access to the r4, r6, r8, and r2 toolboxes, alongside being compatible with the plant synchro engines, so long as they avoid using the level 1 for the turn, they have the aromages on their side, the predaplant engine, the rose archetype, and the traptricks. the water support includes dozens of obscure, or well known techs that could buff their potential coverage, like white howling, bahamut/treatoad, absolute zero, and moray of greed. The list goes on. They probably won't be tier 1, but tier 2 is by no means out of their reach, and that's enough to take a couple regionals.
