[DISC]Burden of the Mighty

Recommended Posts

This actually is a good card. It's pretty asinine to randomly stick this into your deck, but in the more aggro-oriented decks like Little City or the Fusilier one that ran this at worlds to begin with, it can seriously be lethal. Celestia and Monarchs are brought down to 1800, which allowed them to be run over by Neos Alius or Smashed by D.D. Survivor. Pumped Laquari isn't so big anymore, Stratos smashes searchers, etc.

The next person to say lolATK deserves to get punched in the face. Just because ATK isn't the only thing there to be evaluated in a card doesn't mean that it shouldn't be evaluated at all.

annoying card is very annoying.

Stratos hates this.he loses his B-Stickiness and gets run over by most other monsters.DAD becomes less than a monarch.JD-same result.

Burden' date='i love you so.

You fail so hard

You play it on your own turn after you survived a post DaD/JD swarm.

Help me out on this: If I used Burden of the Mighty, and let's say as an example I have a face-down Eatgaboon face-down on the field. If my opponent Summons a Level 5+ monster with 1000- ATK, will I be able to activate Eatgaboon, or will the timing of Burden to Eatgaboon cause the ATK to be treated as its original value?

This card seems fun with Venom Swamp.

It isn't' date=' because it doesn't work. If a monster's atk is lowered by the effect of another card too, then it won't die.

You can activate Eatgaboon (lol, who uses that?) because the effect of Burden of the Mighty is continuous and is already applied when the monster is summoned successfully (the time when you declare response with a card of Spell Speed 2).

Alright. So if I was stupid enough to try it, I could run Burden and Chain Disappearance to counter DAD. If they summoned Krebons = Die. Armageddon = Die. Commander = Die. Plus it already has a few targets (Sangan, Fear Monger, Malicious, Reaper)

Though this probably wont be so good, it's still a possibility xD

Two of this card creates targets of Chain for pretty much any of their monsters.

[/quote']yes it works.because burden is continuous.so the moment that monster hits the field its atk drops so eatgaboon kills it.its the same as u can trap hole or bottomless neo-spacian flare scarab
