JesusofChaos™
^^ How many people that you play aim to summon Herk? Gyzarus is better and far easier to summon on repeat occasion. Its just an example
The Dark One
Gardnas are a decent card in Lightsworn, but by no means a must. Yes, they often are milled, but they are also drawn quite often as well. That's a bad thing. It can be mitigated by running cards like Lightning Vortex and PWWB, but the fact still remains that a eck that uses Necro Gardna is less consistent than one that does not. It may be superior in the situations where it doesn't backfire, but that won't change the fact that it is inferior in the cases that it does. CCV is only good in Lightsworn if they run the full possible compliment of DARKs. That means 3 Gardna, 1-2 PoC, 1 Sangan, Crows, possibly Reaper. Otherwise, no. It just isn't smart to run a card that only has 3 targets in the deck. The question remains, we know that CCV can win games, but is the extreme loss in both consistency and deck dedication (running inferior monsters, monsters that don't help lightsworn's win condition, etc.) really worth the occasional free win? I think you should be winning those games that CCV wins for you anyways, if you've built your deck right.
Static
^^ CCV normally gets milled. That must be taken into account, thus you need less darks. And obviously you have crows side decked, stardust kills LS when you don't draw honest. Since when did LS win games without Judgment dragon? The most effective decks are focused on getting JD out ASAP, and to ensure that you don't lose in the meantime, 3 Gardna and 3 Honest is more reliable than just three honest.
