Hopefully I didn't come as lazy for not giving card critique in my previous comment, I only felt that, given your mastery of Lavals, my input was kinda unneeded, but if you think I can help, then I'll try. Priestess - You seem pretty careful in the balancing of each card, so you might not like adding a powerful effect here, but it feels a self-discarding as a hand Trap would be extremely effective for this lady If a "Laval" monster(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can discard this card instead. Blacksmith - What comes to mind if an effect that manipulates Level. You expressed your concern about the Levels of Priestess and Gunner. My suggestion would be to leave them as they're listed right now, but add an effect somewhere that can increase or decrease a "Laval"'s Level. Blacksmith seems like the premiere choice. Permanent +500 ATK is tempting, but flavour wise I can imagine a Blacksmith manipulating the level, as in "honing or dulling an edge". Considering Lavals have Lv 5-8 Synchros (and now a 10 with Tri-Blaze), tweaking with Levels sounds rather valuable. Once per turn, if a "Laval" monster in your possession is sent to the GY: You can target 1 "Laval" monster you control; increase or decrease its Level by 1, and if you do, banish it when it leaves the field. <-- Crossed text as a tech option for Cannon's effect. Gunner - Dual self SS method is powerful indeed. Given your concerns about balance, how about adding a clause that restricts your Summoning capabilities? Not terribly helpful, I know, but this way you limit the monsters that can be Summoned by using this card as material. On top of this, a HOPT would be in order. But if you think this is too much and you're considering possible multiple copies being sent to the GY in a turn, we can balance the HOPT by allowing Molten Conduction Field to work with this card. If this card is sent from your Deck to the GY by the effect of a "Laval" card, or a card that lists "Laval" in its card text: You can Special Summon this card. If Summoned this way: You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except FIRE monsters. You can only use this effect of "Laval Gunner" once per turn. Eruption - Tbh, I'm not sure what to do with this. It surely does a ton of good things with the first effect. If you feel uncomfortable with this, it comes to mind that Eruption -> Return to the hand. It'd be a heavy blow for the card, returning to hand a mob already in control and losing the banishment. On top of that, it just becomes overly difficult to use. In that case, I'd even go as far as making it draw 3 cards and discarding 2. This is probably bad advice, so NVM if it is, but perhaps it gives you an idea. Molten Lord - Ummm, yeah, this one is a little.... dull. Maybe.... If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can discard 1 card, then target 1 of your banished monsters; shuffle that target into the Deck, and if you do, draw 1 card. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 "Laval" monster from your GY, then target 1 face-up card on the field; destroy that target, and if you do, if the destroyed card was a monster with an original ATK lower than this card's ATK, inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of that monster's original ATK. Hey! I mean, these guys are FIRE monsters, where's the burn damage? xD I just basically made the card stronger, but I have no regrets. Again, I'm aware you're conservative in your effects, but given the ridiculously powerful effects found nowadays in the meta, I think this is fine. Knight, Mander and Tri-Blaze Cannon look good to go to me. Well, I hope this was helpful, even if a little.

Bit Indifferent but also fully understand the moral and legal violation and hopeful never happen to the tournament and the yugioh community as a whole again Instead of rage i rather laugh it out.   5. lol Zama, tbh I just can't feel outraged. Don't get me wrong, this is disgusting, but a person cheating to win is...well, pitiable. The poor guy needs to cheat to win. He doesn't have the skills, so he has to resource to this. Now tell me this: Will this guy, from the bottom of his heart, will ever feel good with himself? I don't think so. No matter his level of denial, in a corner of his brain, a voice will always tell him: "I'm a pathetic person, not good enough to win by skills alone. I won ONLY because I've been cheating, and any victories I have are worth nothing". I suppose the most annoying part is that he's taking the the satisfaction of winning to the other player, as well as earning prizes he shouldn't, but at the end of the day, he's just sad.

  7. Idk. To me, it's always been a weird thing. Every year has tragedies and shitty things that happen. I can't remember a time when it was mainstream to say "[Insert previous year] was a great year!". There's always going to be crappy stuff that happens every single year. This may be different, since 2020 was when we were going through the worst of the pandemic and it seems like there's light at the end of the tunnel in 2021, but let's be real: 2021 is going to have some devastating stuff. Icons will die. Violence could occur. We can't rule out that bad stuff will always inevitably happen. We reached a point where so many people are so politically and socially hostile. It's been like that and it always will be like that. But while it keeps escalating, the more tribal we all become. If we keep on seeing each other through these antagonistic tribal lens, then we can never have a "great year". So yes, on a technical level, 2021 would be better since this pandemic is slowly coming to an end. But doesn't mean it's going to be a great year or anything like that. We just have to understand that terrible things, even things totally unexpected, may occur.

  8. Ro Ro Ro Golem LVL 5 LIGHT This monster cannot be tribute summoned and must be summoned by other ways. If you control no face up "Ro Ro Ro" monsters you can special summon this monster from your hand. While this card is in face up defense position your opponent can only attack this card. The first time each turn this defense position monster would be destroyed by battle instead negate the attack and change the attacking monster to defense position. ATK/1700 DEF/2100

  10. On one hand, it is super situational because you can't exactly search/draw into it the turn you wanna use it, giving it a bigger waiting window than most decks would want to go through. It also requires a completely empty field, which is either after a nuke (where the opponent is likely pushing for game right there) or your opening play. Dimension Shifter has what I think is a lot worse of a condition to make it live and it somehow found its way into competitive builds (which I still to this day don't understand why people would risk such a brick for the sake of a potential game opener hand trap but clearly it was doing something). I have no doubt your card would be ran for a similar kind of niche use, as it allows you to go off with no fear and establish full field. Bonus points that Fairy Tail Luna can search it, Salvage can retrieve it, it is a Tuner. "Possessed Partnerships" is also nothing to sneeze at, that 1500 DEF is not only compatible with Charmer themes or Fairy Tails, but Dogmatika Ecclesia covers that front as well, and the engine of "Dogmatika Punishment" searches is one of my favorite ones to use in recent times. Granted, those are more "setup and wait for reactions" plays that wouldn't achieve the best use of your card which is to allow you to drop an unbreakable board combo of like 20 minute solitaire plays xD... there's a lot going for this card. The protection also is live enough if your deck allows you to protect yourself enough to stretch the game even after searching her. It isn't my personal preferred style of play to aim to make it live, but the card still has potential. For some reason also came to my mind the "Goddess of Sweet Revenge" with a pretty sweet effect with an incredibly narrow window to use it.
