  1. Too much effort required to bring it out for what it can do. Borreload is easier to bring out and offers pretty much the same as far as omni-negates go (yeah ok, it lacks the protection of this card but it's generic and reasonably splashable) and it can't be cheated out like Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon can. IDK, maybe if you could get it out easily then sure.
  2. True King of all Calamities getting banned has been a long time coming. Solid hits overall but Eldlich didn't get touched and Dragon Link didn't really get touched either. That being said, the hits don't kill Virtual World. They have other win conditions. Drytron losing Union Carrier and Benten getting Limited takes some power from them but I doubt it'll kill the deck outright either. Megalith Phul can also get Benten back for a second use that turn too albeit it's a hard once per turn for that.
  3. That's an Ultra Parallel Rare. A rarity exclusive on Hobby League cards.
  4. LIGHT/Fiend-type/3000ATK/Link-5 4+ Effect Monsters You can also use 1 monster your opponent controls as material to Link Summon this card. If this card is Link Summoned: You can negate the effects of all face-up monsters your opponent currently controls. This Link Summoned card is unaffected by your opponent's activated effects, unless they target this card. Once per turn, when your opponent activates a card or effect that Special Summons a monster(s) from the GY (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation. Seems like it could be kinda disgusting if you can bring it out ea
  5. Unhealthy behavior? That's been a problem in some form in this game for years. It's most of the reason why I left it for so many years. Along with the general burn-out of everything. Konami's card design is an issue here. It pretty much always has been in some form with cards that shouldn't have seen the light of day in said form in the first place. There's also the players that accept it. I get evolution of the game and that, but there should be a default of what's acceptable card design as far as balance goes. The game may have changed over the years but it's still the same old whoever
  6. It's similar and kind of related. The card you're thinking of is Borreload Savage Dragon.
  7. Testing changes now. 1 card Mechaba (essentially anyway since Aleister gets all the pieces together) is too good to pass up. Will update OP once they're locked in :) EDIT: Changes made. Levianeer was indeed becoming cloggy in the deck. Deck has plenty of disruption and negation to not need Garnets just so Dragoon can be used too. Deck is very strong and indeed competitive.
  8. I don't see Yata-Garasu coming back without some sort of errata. Norleras' effect can also still be cheated with Phantom of Chaos and you can top-deck Yata with cards like Plaguespreader Zombie/Feather of a Phoenix so you can get the card to your hand after the Norleras reset. Not to mention locking your opponent out of a draw phase so easily in general is just degenerate. Think about it. Say it comes off the list. All it takes is one person to come up with another degenerate strategy that facilitates Yata-Garasu and it'll create what it originally created with Chaos Emperor Dragon all those y
  9. Deck I'm working on IRL. Just about completed (waiting on Purgatrio to arrive but Cycle Readers are impossible to find in my parts for some reason). Seems solid in testing. Found Ash Blossom to work better than Ghost Belle in the Main Deck so maining Ash Blossom and Siding Ghost Belle (for now anyway). Updated the Extra Deck. Put Purgatrio and Almiraj in and took I:P and Borrelsword out since I never go into them anyway and Purgatrio can end games fast against over-extension. Monsters: 17 1x Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Knighted 2x Dogmatika Maximus 3x Aleister the Invo

  11. Back in the game after so long out of it. A lot has changed. Work in progress fun deck more or less. Found to work better as a more control-based deck than an OTK one. Warning over Strike because it seems to stop more things that threaten this deck than Strike. Monsters: 22 3x Judgment Dragon 3x Chaos Dragon Levianeer 2x Summoner Monk 3x Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn 3x Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner 2x Wulf, Lightsworn Beast 2x Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress 1x Ehren, Lightsworn Monk 3x Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring Spells: 13
  12. [spoiler spoiler] Because I can and because I've never actually posted a picture of myself in this topic.
  13. No. Unless there is an effect on the said card that says otherwise. Otherwise, no.
