  1. Not sure if anyone here is from Mexico or not but some advice would be cool. A couple nights ago, I was driving around and about 10:30 PM I'm about to make my way until I glance up to see large black owl so I turn around and put my highbeams on and when it noticed me, it dropped off the powerline and fell about 10 feet before opening its wings and flying across the street. This owl's wings were easily 7+ feet across and the bird itself was easily 3 times the size of a great horned owl. The bird at first glance looked like a person crouched down on the powerline and when I saw it in flight, it was easily the size of a crane. But it was an owl and easily identifiable as such due to its perfectly rounded wings.

I wonder if maybe what you saw was an oversized great grey owl. That's significantly south of their normal range, but it sounds like they meet the description. They are the largest known species of owl in length and are recorded to exceed 5 feet in wingspan, so 7 feet would be above normal, but not impossible. Perhaps they extend further south than the scientific community realizes, or maybe it was a released pet. Something like that could also explain the "lechuza" phenomenon as a whole if there's an established population down there that nobody knows about.

The thing is usually once a bird of prey establishes a solid hunting ground, it doesn't leave that area. And that was the first time I've seen that specific bird. I know the town has a family of great horned owls and the largest bird of prey here is the flock of black vultures that nest down at the lake (unless you count the lone turkey vulture). We have a small flock of bald eagles that I've only seen a couple times. And also a small family of peregrines. Also, a lone barn owl. That about sums up the birds of prey in my area/town.

On another note, a great grey owl on average is only 33in tall. The owl I saw was at rest and crouched down and was easily the size of a harpy eagle standing at full attention. If I'm not mistaken, a harpy is a very large bird and stands just over 3ft in height (this would also fit the bill if it wasn't night) and the harpy territory was even remotely close to Texas.

Okay, maybe not. Like I said, could be a particularly massive individual, but that's only a theory. Who knows?

  2. Pretty well. Still getting a laugh out of everyone here being stupid and in full panic mode. Enjoying the near empty streets. Also, I may have seen a mythical creature.
  3. Gilgamesh looks more like Vash the Stampede in armor. A hungry charizard.

Granted, Lapras needs a pre-evo anyway. I wish we can have a Scyther pre-evo in our region.

Granted, the world is now brainwashed by the Society of Darkness. I wish for a Charmander.
  6. I actually like the most recent print of Slifer the Sky Dragon for the art.
  7. Question: If you write a death note on Bruce Wayne, will Batman die?

Granted, they now work all the time and the entire planet is trapped in a one big shadow game. I hope you're happy with yourself. I wish for folks to stop making conspiracy theories that don't make any sense.
  9. Mostly play video games and such but I really like to draw or write when inspiration hits me.
  10. I see what you mean. I've been reading the story and it inspired me to write my own. But I wanna see how this arc ends.
