Special Summon 1 Spirit Monster from your hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions, also, after that, you can banish 1 card in your GY, and if you do, apply 1 of the following effects based on the type of card (Monster, Spell, or Trap) of the banished card. Monster: Switch control of the Spirit Monster summoned by this card's effect, and if you do, you can take control of a monster your opponent controls with an ATK equal or lower than that Spirit Monster. Spell: Spirit Monsters you control cannot be targe
  2. well, I tried to make a checkered marble floor, similar to this: In retrospective, I could have made the white lines in the black tiles thinner. The good thing is that the drawing can still be submitted to improvement, I can address that. Soo, detailed, ok, but hopefully you liked the overall drawing? You already know my opinion, but to repeat myself, this is pretty good, nice work. And thanks for listening to critique and suggestions n.n
  3. *cough* But I have like 5 or so posts in which I covered the 4 criteria and didn't get anything, lol, I thought that rule was removed *cough* Ahem, 24 hours have passed without our friend Nerdling updating, so I'll leave a prompt for the community to use n.n * Pendulum Fusion Monster * Has uneven scales * If you have a copy of it in both Pendulum Zones, you can do something drastically good * Poison Attribute (Remember, the OP allowed use to use custom Attribute and types as long as they make sense)
  4. Thanks for the info, I normally don't follow tournaments and I didn't know this individual was actually skilled. What you say is pretty unnerving, though. In the long run I just can't see how this kind of people can live with themselves, whenever they have to resource to win, they become a lie, and they know it, unless there's a pathological level of denial in their heads. I wonder if at some point they'll reach a point of break, like how it happened to figures like Lance Armstrong or Marion Jones...
  5. Hey @Therealnoobmaster2001, long time no see! Let's have a look... Alrighty, let's polish the card grammar a little, ok? n.n Well, the retrain is definitely a nice improvement. Double Normal Summon is always handy, and it's also great that you sent to the GY that annoying clause that could auto-destroy the Prince. It won't leave a great mark in the meta, as you can imagine, but at least is good news for the ever difficult to run Worm archetype. To go a little further with the much needed increase in power of this card, I'd recommend allowing the extra Normal Summon to also allow a
  6. I wanted my 1000th post to be something special. This is for you, @Sleepy, the prize for the Christmas Event, I truly hope you like it, I poured my soul into it n.n EDIT: I noticed YCM greatly reduced the image's size, original is 1754 x 2260 px. I'll give you the original image if you'd like. EDIT: I noticed YCM greatly reduced the image's size, original is 1754 x 2260 px. I'll give you the original image if you'd like.
  7. I mean, I never expected I'd see Neopolitan from RWBY dressed as a Magical Girl! xD Alrighty, the set is not bad at all. I'm not sure if there are precedents to this, but I don't remember Link Monsters that can be Special Summoned by using cards in the hand... that's pretty strong, but creative, and with the correct clauses, it could work rather well. In these cases the Link is asking for an exact card to be used as material, which hopefully is enough to balance it.Virgo's effect, though, sounds like you can use only the Maiden to Special Summon it, despite being Link Rating 2. That'd be
  8. Is this for me? xD In case it is, yeah, I think I can post every now and then. Tbh, Catter, I haven't stopped to think (until now) how fun this thread can be. Normally, whenever I post a card in the usual sections, whether it's Casual or Realistic, I try to make it somehow usable for the meta, as balanced as possible and stuff. In part, that's good, but it plays against the creativity. I have discarded a ton of ideas because they're too crazy, or because they have a strange effect that I'm not sure how to word correctly. I think this place's got the freedom we need to post whatever come
  9. It's been a while I posted here sooo: Fierce Typhoon Normal Spell Pay 1000 LP. Move all monsters in a Main Monster Zone to the zone adjacent to the left. Monsters in the leftmost Main Monster Zone (from the perspective of each player) switches control, moving to the Main Monster Zone in the same column. You can only use 1 "Fierce Typhoon" per turn. ***lol yeah, it's a typhoon that moves all monsters clockwise, and pushes the mobs at the edge of the field to the other side. This can have two uses. You either gain control of the mob in the opponent's leftmost zo
  10. Alrighty, I made the change in both the image and the effect, now it's more flexible, thanks, Sleeepieee n.n Wow, excellent insight! I have to say, I agree with just about everything you said. There's this part, "The other concern I have is the way it may change the balance of first and second turn. It probably helps the second turn player have the ability to actually play, but I fear that is mainly a result of the meta moving more and more towards locking your opponent out of effects and summoning". I'll call this an unfortunate truth. This is just my case, but I regret the way the me
  11. Yep, first Prohibition will remain active, but other Prohibitions cannot be activated or Set. Here's the link to the exact ruling: https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Card_Rulings:Prohibition If "Prohibition" is active and another "Prohibition" is activated, declaring "Prohibition", the copies of "Prohibition" on the field are unaffected, but other "Prohibition" cannot be activated or Set. You'd better declare your opponent's name and win automatically, though xD. Cheers!
  12. Olde style: This me like, 10/10 xD I see you implemented the changes. What excellent card grammar, I wonder who suggested it! No really, good job, I liked the archetype from the start (that's why you have me here over and over lol) and it's looking pretty fun.
  13. You're welcome, I wasn't sure if it'd be helpful, but I'm glad it was. By the way, as I was quickly going through the suggestions I noticed a couple of details, so I changed Priestess' effect to one of those nice "instead" effects that don't start a chain and can include battle destruction, and also adjusted Molten Lord's effect because it previously said "also if that monster etc", which was incorrect because the effect can target any kind of card.
  14. As always, thank you very much for the detailed feedback. In short, the card has a small niche, given the difficulty of usage but great competitive use when available and multiple methods to search it or recycle it... tbh, this is pretty much my intention. But I'd like it to be more flexible if possible. There's the hard part, I'm not sure what to do. I don't think removing the empty field clause is a good idea... the plan is to use this card as help to avoid -almost- certain doom for going second, if the empty field clause is removed, even the first turn player could use it to avoid hand
  15. Hopefully I didn't come as lazy for not giving card critique in my previous comment, I only felt that, given your mastery of Lavals, my input was kinda unneeded, but if you think I can help, then I'll try. Priestess - You seem pretty careful in the balancing of each card, so you might not like adding a powerful effect here, but it feels a self-discarding as a hand Trap would be extremely effective for this lady If a "Laval" monster(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can discard this card instead. Blacksmith - What comes to mind if an effect that mani
  16. lol Zama, tbh I just can't feel outraged. Don't get me wrong, this is disgusting, but a person cheating to win is...well, pitiable. The poor guy needs to cheat to win. He doesn't have the skills, so he has to resource to this. Now tell me this: Will this guy, from the bottom of his heart, will ever feel good with himself? I don't think so. No matter his level of denial, in a corner of his brain, a voice will always tell him: "I'm a pathetic person, not good enough to win by skills alone. I won ONLY because I've been cheating, and any victories I have are worth nothing". I suppose the most anno
  17. @Titan403 First of all, congratulations in such impeccable card grammar, it's pretty amazing and I'll be sure to be attentive to your posts, as I'm bound to learn by reading through them. I loved the passion with which you made this thread, the Laval enthusiasm is definitely overflowing, and I didn't want to let this one go without mentioning it. From the explanation of the existing cards and the archetype's goals, strengths and flaws to how detailed you were in each custom card and your overall feeling about them. You seem like a much more advanced player than I am, so I don't feel like
  18. Impregnable Bubble Magician WATER Level 1 Spellcaster / Tuner / Effect This card's Special Summon and effect cannot be negated. During your Draw Phase, if only your opponent controls a card(s), or if your opponent controls at least 3 more cards than you do and this card is in your hand, before you draw: You can give up your normal draw this turn, and if you do, Special Summon this card. If Summoned this way: Cards in your possession are unaffected by your opponent's card effects until the end of this turn, also your opponent takes no further damage this turn
  19. Hey @Lukus Garvin, first of all, congratz on your first post, and welcome to the site! Allow me to help you a bit with the PSCT n.n You see, simple is best, and Konami is trying to use clearer but simpler terms and methods in the card grammar. Here's the list of things I changed: 1) When -> If. Reason being, When is prone to miss the timing. If is used most of the time for this kind of "At summon effect", and works better. 2) From your Deck -> of your deck 3) This card gains -> Gains. Now Konami uses this short version for changes in ATK/DEF 4) During either pl
  20. Oooof... well, Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi has a pretty terrifying effect already, as well as good stats. Evidently, the problem of the card would be the classic auto return to the hand from all spirits... so... Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi FIRE Level 6 Pyro / Spirit / Effect Cannot be Special Summoned. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, they discard all cards in their hand during the next Draw Phase, before they draw. You can Tribute 1 monster you control; negate this card's effect until the end of this turn. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this
  21. Grand Trainer Solsimathos EARTH Level 1 Warrior / Tuner / Effect Once per turn, when you take damage from a card in your opponent's possession: You can target 1 Normal Monster in your GY; Special Summon that target. Each time your opponent Summons a monster or activates a card effect: You can target 1 Normal Monster you control; increase or decrease its Level by 1 and increase its ATK by 200. If a Normal Monster you control would be destroyed by your opponent's card, you can negate this card's effect instead. ATK 1000 / DEF 700 *Hopefull
  22. First act if you became this site's owner's in place of YCMaker? Thanks for the help with the YGO ruling, btw.
  23. It's ok. I sound like a broken record, but we're here to learn. Making a 100% balanced card is not precisely the easiest task, there are a lot of things you have to take into account, not only for the card in itself, but also the cards that can interact with it, which in some cases is the source of abuse. For this, one needs a lot of knowledge of the meta and existing cards, which is a difficult task, I'll admit I myself am not the best in that regard n.n Ah, for Tinkerer's prompt? Cool. Be careful with the kind of condition you give to the card so it can be activated. Evenly Matched c
