Losing your Battle Phase is a death sentence, especially with how fast many decks are. Really, the card is just average in most circumstances. There is nothing really gained from this card unless you have an opponent who over extends and that is not very likely. Nekroz might be the only deck, if that is even a deck. . HEROes is an aggressive tempo deck that has a lot of abilities to come back. The card is just average in most cases. Having the ability to be a handtrap (probably) makes it useful; that's just asking a lot for a rather empty board, on average, game.

They looked alright for the first 10 minutes but then you realise they're only chasing so much because every time they try to go forward they lose possession immediately.

They tried a lot of 1-2 passes but they were quickly dismantled because they simply lack the skill
