  1. No, Pre-Preperation only works with specifically named monsters, such as with Black Luster Ritual and Black Luster Soldier. Note that it does work if multiple monsters are listed, such as with Shinobird's Calling and both Shinobaron/Shinobaroness Peacock, and even if there is a monster listed not in the Ritual Summoning clause, such as with Revendread Slayer and Revendread Origin.
  2. Egress (Egret +...Egress) You ever wanted in-Deck effects? Well, you've found them with these really aggro Winged Beasts based on herons and other water-related birds that want to get out of your Deck or wherever else. The entire archetype is based on movement, with very few effects leaving any of the monsters in the same place it was when it was activated. The in-Deck effects work when ones in your hand, field or GY, do change locations there, with the birds of a feather flocking together to get out and about, except NEVER GOING BACK INTO THE DECK. With the entire set being rather low-level
  3. Nordic Relic Draupnir Equip Spell Equip only to an "Aesir" or "Nordic" monster. It gains 800 ATK. If it would be destroyed, you can send this card to the GY instead. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can add 1 "Nordic Relic" card from your Deck to your hand. Surprisingly alright card in a bad archetype. The Nordic Lights
  4. Jormungardr the Nordic Serpent DARK | Level 8 | Dragon/Effect | 3000/3000 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. If you control a "Nordic" monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand) to your opponent's side of the field in Defense Position. When Summoned this way: Immediately after this effect resolves, your opponent can Normal Summon 1 "Nordic" monster from their hand without Tributing. At the end of each turn, if an "Aesir" monster is not on the field, destroy this card. Once per turn, if this face-up Defense Position card you control is changed to face-up Attack Position: Take 3000 d
  5. Very unorthodox, I know, but I'm looking to write an effect that can count the number of times something was done without counters. Specifically, I want a card I can send to my GY, then, after 5 cards have been sent from my opponent's Deck to the GY since it was sent to the GY, I can Special Summon it as a trigger effect. Any ideas as to how to write this?
  6. First I thought you mean the Borrel and other related Link Monsters lol. Rapid-Fire Gunning Quick-Play Spell If you activated a card effect that flipped a coin this turn: Special Summon 1 "Barrel Dragon" monster or 1 "Blowback Dragon" from your Deck. You can only activate 1 "Rapid-Fire Gunning" per turn. If you would flip a coin(s), you can banish this card from your GY and flip a coin, then treat the result of those coin toss(es) each as the result of this card's flipped coin. OCG help with the last effect would be appreciated, and hopefully the intention is clear. Toon
  7. It can still activate, and it is no longer affected by Gryphon's effect.
  8. If your opponent has another viable attack target, then if they declare an attack, the attack is immediately directed towards the monster equipped with Ring of Magnetism and Altergeist Camouflage. However, if the Altergeister equipped with Camouflage is the only monster they control, or there is some other "attack lock" preventing you from declaring an attack in the first place, it takes priority and you are unable to attack.
  9. Blackwing - Cygnus the Cosmic DARK - Level 6 - Winged Beast/Ritual/Effect - 2700/1200 You can Ritual Summon this card using "Solar Whirlwinds". Your opponent cannot target other Winged Beast monsters you control for attacks. If this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 Level 3 or lower "Blackwing" monster in your GY; Special Summon it, but you cannot activate the effects of monsters for the rest of the turn, except DARK Monsters. You can only use this effect of this card's name once per turn. Solar Whirlwinds Continuous Spell Once per turn: You can Tribute monsters from your hand or f
  10. Crystolic Growth Quick-Play Spell If you Special Summon a WATER monster(s): You can target 1 "Crystron" monster in your GY; Special Summon it. If the Special Summoned WATER monster was a Synchro monster, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to your Synchro Summons for the rest of the turn. You can only activate 1 "Crystolic Growth" per turn. Gravekeepers
  11. Does the "Your "Mekk-Knight" monsters..." in Mekk-Knight Morning Star's text signify anything in particular? Is it the same as "...monsters you control..." or does it mean something else?
  12. Unless specified, drawing/destroying/99% of actions that aren't normally part of costs can be assumed to not be costs, with old cards that do not have PSCT. Even in the old card, the wording "Tribute this card to..." indicates that everything after that can be considered the effect. A modernized version of the effect would read (not 100% sure on the card grammar but the point is the semicolon differentiating the cost from effect): You can Tribute this card; draw 1 card and reveal it, then, if that card is a Level 1 monster, draw 1 additional card.
