  1. *The reason this is salty requires some exposition. YuGiOh Arc-V was really pleasing me as an anime, especially when I learned it tied together thematically with YuGiOh GX. So when I heard that a new VENOM monster from the GX WORLD where VENOMS already exist with a token gimmick used by a VILLAIN I was super stoked for the return of my favorite Reptile Archetype. And then they were Plants. SO! Here is my Venom Support Archetype that is themed after plants in a petty reversal of what Konami did to my heart. **Also "Goal" is pronounced "Jail". Therefore, "Gaoler" = "Jailer" Monsters: Thorn Gaoler Bramble Wood - *** EARTH Reptile/Effect (1200/600): Once per turn, you can place 1 Thorn Gaol counter onto 1 appropriate face-up card. If this card is Normal Summoned, you can add 1 “Thorn Gaoler” monster from your deck to your hand. You can only activate this effect of “Thorn Gaoler Bramble Wood” once per turn. Thorn Gaoler Honey Locust - **** EARTH Reptile/Effect (1000/800): Twice per turn, you can place 1 Thorn Gaol counter onto 1 appropriate face-up card. You can remove 2 Thorn Gaol counters from the field: Special Summon 1 “Thorn Gaoler” monster from your hand or GY. You can only activate this effect of “Thorn Gaoler Honey Locust” once per turn. Thorn Gaoler Coral Agave - ***** EARTH Reptile/Effect (1600/1200): Once per turn, you can place 2 Thorn Gaol counters onto 1 appropriate face-up card. If this card was successfully Normal or Special Summoned this turn: You may Normal Summon 1 Reptile-Type monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set this turn. You can only use this effect of “Thorn Gaoler Coral Agave” once per turn. Thorn Warden Viper’s Bowstring - ********* EARTH Reptile/Effect (?/?): This card is unaffected by Field Spells. Cannot be Special Summoned by another Effect Monster’s effect. You can remove 5 Thorn Gaol counters from the field: Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is destroyed by battle or is Tributed: You can banish 1 other Reptile-Type monster from any player’s GY; Special Summon this card. This card gains 500 ATK and DEF for each Reptile-type monster in any player’s GY. Thorn Warden of The World Tree - *********** EARTH Reptile/Fusion/Effect (?/?): “Thorn Warden Viper’s Bowstring” + 1 or more “Thorn Gaoler” monsters Must first be Special Summoned with "Tribunal of Thorns" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways except by its own effect. (You do not use Polymerization). This card cannot be targeted by, and is unaffected by, Spell/Trap effects and other Effect Monsters' effects. When this card is destroyed by battle or is Tributed: You can banish 1 other Reptile-Type monster from any player’s GY; Special Summon this card. This card gains 500 ATK and DEF for each Reptile-type monster in any player’s GY. When this card is Fusion Summoned, place Thorn Gaol counters on this card equal to the number of Fusion Materials used in its Fusion Summon. You can remove 3 Thorn Gaol counters from the field: Place 1 Thorn Penance counter on this card. When 5 Thorn Penance counters are on this card, you win the duel. Spells: Valley of Gehenna - Field Spell: During each Standby Phase, place 1 Thorn Gaol counter on each face-up monster on the field, as well as any other appropriate face-up card. Monsters lose 500 ATK and DEF for each of their Thorn Gaol counters, except for “Thorn Goaler” monsters. If a monster’s ATK and DEF are 0 when a Thorn Goal counter is placed on it, destroy that monster. (Quick Effect) You can take 5 Thorn Gaol counters from anywhere on the field and place them on an appropriate target. Thorn Gaoler Gethsemane - Continuous Spell: When this card is activated, place 1 Thorn Gaol counter on it. You can place a maximum of 10 Thorn Gaol counters on this face-up card. You can remove 3 Thorn Gaol counters from this card (Quick Effect): Place 1 Thorn Gaol counter on a face-up monster your opponent controls. Tribunal of Thorns - Quickplay Spell: Fusion Summon 1 “Thorn Warden of the World Tree” from your Extra Deck using monsters you control as Fusion Material. This card’s effect and activation cannot be negated. Any Thorn Gaol counters on the Fusion Material monsters can be transferred to another face-up card on the field, except for “Thorn Warden of the World Tree”. Traps: Thorn Gaoler Swamp - Normal Trap: Reptile-type monsters you control gain 100 ATK and DEF for each Thorn Gaol counter currently on the field. You can banish this card from your GY (Quick Effect): Return up to 2 of your banished Reptile-type monsters to your GY. If there are 3 of your “Thorn Gaoler Swamp” that are banished face-up (Quick Effect): Banish those cards face-down, then Special Summon 1 “Thorn Gaoler” monster from your hand, deck, or GY. Thorn Warden’s Command - Counter Trap: If your opponent activates a Spell or Trap effect, you can reveal 1 “Thorn Gaol” card in your hand: Negate that effect, and if you do, shuffle that card into the deck instead of sending it to the GY. During your Main Phase, if this card is in your GY and you control a “Thorn Warden” monster: You can Set this card from the GY, but banish it face-down when it leaves the field.
  2. Thank you! This is supposed to be Ishizu's Deck after she loses her Millennium Item and can't see the future anymore. So instead, she focuses on the sands of time past that will ultimately erode away everything into sand. I did consider making the Link monster a form of Ishizu, but I like Serket a lot, and I don't like Odion, so... Feel free to imagine it's an Angelic version of Ishizu instead haha

Mystical Sand of Keldo - ** EARTH Fairy/Effect (100/100): You can reveal this card in your hand (Quick Effect): Target up to 2 cards in your opponent’s GY and banish them and this card face-down; then advance the turn count by 2 for each monster banished by this effect. Mystical Sand of Mudora - ** EARTH Fairy/Effect (100/100): Gains 200 ATK and DEF x the current turn count. Mystical Sand of Zolga - ** EARTH Fairy/Effect (100/100): You can reveal this card in your hand (Quick Effect): Gain 200 LP x the current turn counter, then banish this card face-down, and if you do, monsters you control gain ATK and DEF equal that amount until the End Phase. Mystical Sand Witch - ****** EARTH Fairy/Fusion/Effect (100/100): 2 or more “Mystical Sand” monsters You can also Fusion Summon this card by Tributing “Mystical Sand” monsters you control whose total Levels equal 6 (in which case you do not use “Polymerization"). When this card is Fusion Summoned: Advance the current turn count by 6. If the current turn count is 20 or higher, your opponent cannot target this card with card effects. This card can attack your opponent directly. Each time this card inflicts damage to your opponent LP: Advance the turn count by 2. Mystical Sand Beast of Serket - Link 5 EARTH Fairy/Link/Effect (?/x): 2+ “Mystical Sand” monsters with different names [L][R][BL][BR][BM] Must be Link Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other means. When this card is Link Summoned, advance the turn count forward by the number of Link Materials used in its Link Summon x10. Gains ATK equal to the number of Link Materials used in its Link Summon x1000. If the current turn count is 99 or higher: You win the Duel. Spells: Mystical Sand River of Denial - Field Spell: When this card is activated, you can add 1 “Mystical Sand” monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate this effect of “Mystical Sand River of Denial” once per turn. Monsters Summoned to the field with an ATK or DEF higher than 100 have their original ATK and DEF set at 100. This effect applies even if this card leaves the field. During each End Phase, banish face down all monsters in each player’s GY; other card effects cannot be activated in response to this effect. Exchange of the Mystical Sand - Quickplay Spell: Each player can randomly shuffle up to 5 of their face-down banished cards into their Deck, and if they do, you gain 100 LP for each. After this card successfully resolves, advance the turn count by 1 for each card shuffled into their respective Decks by this effect. If the turn count is 15 or higher, you can banish this card from your GY face-down: Look at your face-down banished cards and target 1 “Mystical Sand” monster among them and Special Summon it. Temple of Mystical Sand - Continuous Spell: “Mystical Sand” monsters you control gain 100 ATK and DEF x the current turn count. If this card on the field is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 “Mystical Sand” monster from your Deck or Extra Deck; also it cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects this turn. Traps: Mystical Sand Tribute - Normal Trap: Activate by equipping this card to a face-up monster your opponent controls. Monsters equipped with this card cannot be Tributed or used as Material for the Summon of an Extra Deck Monster. If a card(s) on your field would be destroyed by a card effect, you can destroy the equipped monster instead. If this card is in your GY while the current turn count is 30 or higher (Quick Effect): You can Set this card to your field from your GY, also it can be activated this turn, but banish it face-down when it leaves the field. Mystical Sand Hourglass of Destiny - Continuous Trap: You can only control 1 face-up “Mystical Sand Hourglass of Destiny”. During each Standby Phase: Advance the turn count by 1. Each time a card is added from your opponent’s Deck to their hand: Advance the turn count by 1. Each time a card is moved from the GY to another location (except by being banished): Advance the turn count by 1. Mystical Sand Swallowing All - Counter Trap: Activate only while you control a face-up “Mystical Sand” card. Negate the activation of an opponent’s card effect, and if you do, banish that card face down. Once per turn, you can reveal this Set card on your field: Place 1 Mystical Sand counter on this card. After this card resolves, you can remove 1 Mystical Sand counter from it: Set this card on your field again instead of sending it the GY. You can only have 1 “Mystical Sand Swallowing All” Set on the field at a time.

Monsters: Amazoness Battle Hawk - ** EARTH Beast/Effect (800/1100): (Quick Effect) You can discard this card from your hand, then target 1 “Amazoness” monster you control: It gains 1100 ATK until the End Phase of this turn. During your Main Phase, you can target 1 “Amazoness” card you control and 1 card your opponent controls: shuffle this face-up card from the field into your deck, then return those targets to the hand. Amazoness Beast Master - Link1 [BM] EARTH Warrior/Link/Effect (1900/x): 1 “Amazoness” monster If this card is Link Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Beast-type “Amazoness” monster from your deck to your zone this card points to. You cannot Special Summon monsters except “Amazoness” monsters the turn you activate this effect. Unaffected by the effects of Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-type monsters. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a face-up Beast, Beast-warrior, or Winged Beast-type monster: Destroy that monster. Penthesilea, Goddess of the Amazon - Link 3 [TM][BL][BR] EARTH Warrior/Link/Effect (2600/x): 3 monsters including an “Amazoness” monster that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck If this card is Link Summoned, you can target 1 monster in your GY used as Link Material for its Summon: banish the other 2 Link Material Monsters from your GY, then Special Summon that target. Once per turn, you can have this card gain 100 ATK for each “Amazoness” monster on the field and in the GYs. (Quick Effect) You can banish 1 “Amazoness” card from your GY: until the End Phase, this card is unaffected by card effects except its own and cannot be destroyed by battle. Spells: Amazoness Outcast - Continuous Spell: When this card is activated, Special Summon it to the field as an Effect Monster in face-up Defense Position (Warrior/EARTH/Level 4/ATK 2000/DEF 1000). (This card is also still a Spell Card.) While this card is treated as an Effect Monster, and it is the only monster you control, it cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects. You can Tribute this face-up card: reveal 1 “Amazoness” Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, then send the Fusion Materials listed on that card from your hand, field, or deck to the GY, and if you do, Special Summon that Fusion Monster. This is treated as a Fusion Summon. Traps: Amazoness Forbidden Ruins - Continuous Spell: During each End Phase, you can target up to 3 of your “Amazoness” cards that are either banished or in the GY: your opponent selects 1 of those cards and adds it to your hand, then shuffle the other cards into the deck. During your opponent’s Standby Phase, if you control an “Amazoness Village” you can send this card to the GY: your opponent skips their Main Phase 1.
