  1. Batteryman 4.5-Volt (LIGHT) Level:2 |[Thunder/Effect]| ATK/500 |DEF/500 If this card is added from your Deck or GY to your hand by a card effect: You can Special Summon this card. If this card is Normal or Flip Summoned: You can pay 500 LP; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 "Batteryman" monster. You can use each effect of "Batteryman 4.5-Volt" only once per turn. During your End Phase; destroy this card. (Artwork: it's mine, this is why it looks so lackluster) I have been wondering what Batteryman were lacking and the first that i could notice was definitely speed (among other things), so i brainstormed about the "missing" link that would combo with all the main players. Here are the interactions i had intended with the rest of the archetype (alphabetically): 9-Volt: arguably this card's most valuable ally, being enabled by its effect (when added to the hand) while also being able to enable it in return (via the additional Normal Summon). It also inherits the short lifespan, which is not a huge loss, since its presence is not that intimidating and could be more valuable in the GY where it can be recycled from, easily. AAA: Well, a hypothetical Link 2 can now reach the Link 3 mark with this card. Charger: one of the slowest (2nd only to Button-Cell), this card's potential could be "unlocked" with this card. Use 4.5 to instantly tribute summon it and trade off the loss (it's going to the GY anyway), even if it's a 2-for-2. You could also combo 4.5 with Charger for a 9-Volt and search another 4.5 or Fuel-Cell to instantly fulfill the activation requirements of "Short Circuit". Fuel-Cell: with more swarming possibilities Fuel-Cell thrives. You would also want to use 4.5 as cost, since it's not as valuable as a beatstick as 9-Volt could be, you would maybe want to recycle it from the GY with one of the spells available too. Solar - there could be some interesting interactions, although this could be the card gaining the least from all listed.
