Skyson
[spoiler=Effect]This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 2 Spirit monsters in your Graveyard. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned, Special Summoned, or flipped face-up. Discard 1 Spirit monster from your hand to destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls with the same Attribute as the discarded monster. You can Tribute 2 other Spirit monsters you control to draw 2 cards from your Deck. First Spirit Single. I run a Spirit Deck, and the most difficult part of bringing out the "really good" Spirits [Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi and Yamata Dragon] is the fact that they can't be Special Summoned. I focused mostly on the weaknesses of the Spirit Deck when making this. - The stronger Spirit monsters are unable to be Special Summoned. There's not a lot of Spirits that want to stay on the field for a turn to be USED as Tribute material. None of them want to stay on the field at all, really.- Heavy lack of draw power. Very often will have huge hands of all Spirit monsters that just keep returning to the hand.- Inability to destroy opposing monsters without support. The only Spirit that can do this usefully is Dark Dust Spirit, and he still costs a Tribute. Image credit goes to Jaden Yuki's long lost Image Archive. That thread had a lot of awesome images. =( So, per usual, opinions and comments are appreciated. Thanks.
Shiranui
Since I'm doing a spirit project I'll give my opinion :) Since you run a spirit deck, I'll assume you know what you're talking about when it comes to strategy and so the effect counters that weakness very easily and I guess consistantly. Though you could constantly keep summoning this as long as you have Spirits in your Grave while keeping this card relatively protected as it returns to your hand and it's effect gives it a lot of fodder to work with. The OCG is good from what I can see :) If it were real, it would do wonders for the spirits but I'm still not sure if it quite balances out... Skyson
If you're talking about the Tribute 2 Spirits to draw 2 cards effect, that was intentional synergy. Spirits don't swarm the field like other monsters do. I doubt I would be able to pull off the Tribute to draw effect twice in two consecutive turns. The best option I have there is abusing Yamato-no-Kami alongside this Special Summon and another Spirit's Normal Summon. Even then, I have to remove 1 more Spirit monster in the Graveyard from play to Special Summon YnK. Though the synergy can create a good source of draw power, it quickly mills the Graveyard out of usable Spirits. I didn't really tack it on for abuse, it's just a way of recycling a hand full of Spirits and turning it into something useful. Thanks for the comments, though. The opinions of a fellow spirit maker are quite welcome.
Godot
Interesting. I used to run a Spirit Deck (Now it's Fishey) and I know what ya mean. TDG has some new cards to help them though. I really don't see OCG so Gratz. Rua'll give ya a 9.7/10.
Tabris
Here's an idea (pardon the nomi-killin' part - I hate nomis): This card cannot be Special Summoned exceptfrom your hand by removing from play 2 Spirit mMonsters in your Graveyard. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned, Special Summoned, or flipped face-up. Discard 1 Spirit monster from your hand to destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls with the same Attribute as the discarded monster. You can Tribute 2 other Spirit monsters you controlsend 2 Spirit Monsters on the field or in your hand to the Graveyard to draw 2 cards from your Deck. Maximum utility. That fuckin' much. The semi-nominess lets it retain the fact that it's a Spirit. Being able to freely be Special Summoned (and not returning to the hand when Normal Summoned) kind of defeats the fact that it's a Spirit. As utilistic as that would be, I tried to make a support for Spirit monsters in the form of a Spirit monster. Sending Spirits out of the hand was something I considered, as well as being able to include herself in the Tributeable fodder for her own effect. Decided against it because it would turn into a ridiculous draw engine that would let you just cycle through in-hand Spirits. The on-field requirement pretty much assures that it's only going off once a turn, and hell, if you have 2 more Spirit monsters to pull the effect off again, by all means promote the advantage in hand at the cost of the field. So, thanks for the idea. To the rest, thanks for your opinions. I spent most of today working on Crystal Beast support cards, just working on finding pictures for them. :/

Skyson
I have ideas for a few other Spirit cards, yeah. Yesterday was my [18th] Birthday, huzzah to me. I guess I could celebrate that alongside becoming a 4-star member, since that just happened like a week ago. <_< A bump for this topic, the only one I've really got a good card in. The Balance Set idea kind of died.
