(meanwhile in the forest) Plauge: no need for that, hmhm, i just want to see if you are the true one

 

AJ: true one?

 

Plauge: the duelist of Pure Darkness, the one who controlls Nightshrouds deck inhearits great dark powers, more then enough to destroy any duelist they stand against, do you know what we can do with such power?! do you?

 

AJ: (smirks) WE? i'm sorry, but this picture doesn't include a "we", "I" will defeat Damion with my new power, and "you" (smiles evilly) will get out of my face before "I" send you so far into the shadows you'll never escape (a dark aura seemed to form around AJ, suddenly he relased a dark shockwave that knocked Plauge off his feet) now take my advice and get out of my face (AJ turned and began to walk away)

 

Plauge: (yelling after him) do you really think you can just use that power for your own advantage?! in the end it will destroy you if you don't controll it!!!

 

AJ: hmph, i don't need to controll it, when i duel him (turns to Plauge and smiles in an insane manner) i'll just let it run wild

 

(Plauge's eyes widened) Plauge: WAIT!!! (but it didn't make a difference, AJ was out of site within a matter of seconds)

(Koga is sitting in his room, deep in thought.) (These Shadow Vipers... they're incredibly powerful. One of them defeated Peter Aquas in a very short time, and they've already infiltrated the academy. Miya even used Aztec god cards! I wonder... should I? Should I unleash the full power of my deck, the Ocean Lord himself?...) He sat there a bit longer, before heading off to his Alchemy lesson.

AJ: (after leaving Plauge in the forest he walked back to the academy, he had Banners class in an hour even though it paid no use to his duel against Damion he figured he would go to pass time, he sat in the back of the room to aviod any activity, however Crystal walked in and sat next to him)

 

AJ: (not looking at her) what do you want?

 

(meanwhile)

 

Damion: Laquari, finish this (Damion's GB (Gladiator Beast) attacked the Obelisk directly and dropped his points down to 0)

 

Obelisk student: 0000

Damion: 8000

 

Damion: (blankly) was that supposed to be a challenge?

 

Obelisk student: w-who the hell are you?

 

Damion: a duelist who has lost everything and gained power (walked off the field and out of the Obelisk arena)

Crystal left class and at once ran to find AJ. She eventually found him heading to the cafeteria. "Andrew Joseph Maxwell, stop right there!" she bellowed down the corridor. She ran after him and said to him in a no-nonsense-straightforward-talk-only tone, "We need to talk. Now. I don't care what you say, you will talk to me."

Crystal dragged AJ to one side with surprising strength. "That deck. It's an issue we need to solve." Ignoring his protests she continued. "That deck is not your deck. This is your deck, the Crystal Beasts. Please, just throw that deck aside. It won't help you win. You were much better off with Crystal Beasts. And it's not just that, that deck is evil. Evil, AJ, evil. It's changing you, can't you see? Where is the AJ I know, I love?" She starred into his eyes, hoping to see some sense in him.

AJ: (smiles darkly) heh, you really are blind aren't you? you can't see the true power i now hold, this is what Damion meant, hate, rage, this is the power i need to win, not some deck i used to be attached to, or friends that "care" for me, i need nothing but this deck and my own strength

"If you won't believe me ... then duel me. I'm going to prove to you your old deck was much better than this deck." She took out AJ's old deck. "Well? Are you going to back down from the challenge?" Suddenly she heard a voice which echoed only to her. She recognised it as Relinquished's voice.

 

Are you really going to use those Crystal Beasts? I can be a much better deck.

 

I don't need you. Only Crystal Beasts can remind AJ of who he is.

OoC: Congrats! :D And thanks for taking my suggestion of a duel using AJ's old deck. All you need to do now is make sure you win...

 

Koga watched as Crystal faced AJ, using a completely new deck. He knew she was an ultra powerful duelist with her Spellcaster deck, but with Crystal Beasts... "Good luck Crystal," he muttered. (She'll need it...)

(OoC: so it's 2000? OK, and thanks for the confetti! *chucks some at AJ* Confetti fight! I'm kinda nervous about this caus I don't know the deck very well!)

 

"I'll go first," said Crystal. She drew. "First I'll play Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus in attack mode! And now by his effect I'll add Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle to the Spell and Trap zone. Now I'll activate field spell Rainbow Ruins! I'll throw a face down and end it there. Your move!"
