"I have to know Peter. You dropped that truth lock pendant, you should have known this was coming," said Crystal. She felt the power overcome her and settle her mind. "Now what is it you can not tell us?"

"S-Sorry... I... I... I'm afraid...... afraid that...." [starts to cry]

[Naimo]

"What is it?" Crystal felt her Relinquished deck was vibrating. Suddenly there was a gush of power and Peter's secret was unlocked to her. She saw everything related to Ruby and realised just what it was. "Peter ... you could have just told us ... this Ruby ... she's a Shadow Viper isn't she?"

[Negimalevolent]

"Pete, you're a great guy, I'll always like you. You're a brilliant friend. And I know you would never play pranks on us, so I would believe you if you told us about Ruby. But there's another thing I sense that is bothering you. What happened with a call?"

"Oh... uh... that um well as long as you won't hate me...........

Ruby... she was my friends mum... she was a very nice woman.... but then she started saying... saying I burnt down her house and killed her son... it happened but-but I didn't do it... but no one believes me so... I must be the lonelyest person alive... she's come here to kill me... and you guys if I survive! I-I'm so sorry... I put you all in so much danger..." [crys heavyly]

"Pete..." Crystal gently walked over to him and pulled him into a caring hug. "I know you, you would never set arson to a house! I believe you, because true friends do! Now that I know about Ruby's threat, I'll never let my guard down. Now pull yourself together and tell everyone else!"

"*sniffle, sniffle* OK... um would you mind helping... oh and I guess I owe you an apology for the way I acted... Thanks for being such a great friend!"

 

*Dome dissapears*

After taking a quick break, Koga returned to the canteen just as the dome dissapeared from around Crystal and Peter. "What the... what just happened?" Then he saw the truth lock pendant, and realised what had happened. "So what did happen with Ruby then?"

[Naimo]

"Koga, you know?" asked Crystal. Just then there was a tinkering sound and the pendant smashed.

[Negimalevolent]

"Way too much! So much I would have broken in to commit suicide if I haddn't have let it out..."

[Goldeneagle]

"I worked out that there was a Shadow Viper called Ruby from deduction and Peter's unconscious mutterings; and he let the name slip one time; but I haven't a clue who she is or why she wants to kill Peter."

[Naimo]

"Peter, why don't you tell him?" said Crystal pointedly.

[Goldeneagle]

"It's okay if you don't, all I really need to know is to be on my guard for if Ruby appears."

[Naimo]

"I would tell you but I want Peter to say it himself," said Crystal. "Same here, the thought of her being a Shadow Viper is nasty. We need to keep our guards up."

[Negimalevolent]

"Fine" (Practicly word to word explanation *see post 711*) "So that's it"

 

OOC: Leonic are you coming back on after eating today?

"Okay, so now we've got 2 confirmed Shadow Vipers to be on the lookout for; Ruby and Miya. Also, my amulet was glowing a lot when Damion Maxwell arrived, do you think he could be one too?"

[Naimo]

"I think Damion is one," said Crystal. "When he walked in the classroom ... Damion gave a really dark presence about him. I haven't really seen him around either."

 

He is one. I don't know about the other three - I have not sensed any of them.

Appearances in Ultima Academy: Chatting to several academy students, most open of the Shadow Vipers, lost against AJ.

Students battled: Lost against AJ (Nightshroud Deck).

 

3. Ruby

Relations: Thinks Peter burnt her house down and killed her son, wants revenge.

Deck: Unknown

Appearances in Ultima Academy: Teleported Peter away to battle him.

Students battled: Won against Peter (Shadow Duel).

 

Also, Nightshroud is not a Shadow Viper, but is included in this list as a Shadow Duelist in the Academy.

Relations: Was defeated by Jaden Yuki, returned possessing AJ.

Deck: Red-Eyes B. Dragons

Appearances in Ultima Academy: Possessed AJ, turning him against his friends.

Students Battled: When AJ was half possessed, he battled the Shadow Viper Miya Yamanoshi and won, he also battled Crystal and lost. This unintentionally gave Nightshroud the opportunity to take full control of AJ.

"Great, and my amulet can warn us when there's one near. And I don't doubt Crystal's Relinquished can do the same, annoying as he may be, he can be quite useful. If we do have an open conflict with the Shadow Vipers, we'll be prepared. Also, talking about information on the Vipers, apparently this Obelisk student got crushed in a battle with a dark figure a couple of days ago. I'm fairly certain it was something to do with a Shadow Viper, so it might be a lead. Apparently the person in question used a Gladiator Beast deck." Koga got out his list and scribbled down: Gladiator Beast deck used; Damion? Or one of the others?
