"What the... Peter! What happened? Is it Ruby?" Then Koga looked down, and saw his amulet shining brightly. "Quick! Icicle Eagle and Icicle Guardian Owl, go get help!" As the eagle flew off to warn the others, and the owl headed for the infirmary, Koga knelt down beside Peter, nervous about what might happen.

She is dark ... very dark ... darker than the darkest Shadow ... you may be able to hold her back once or twice, but not the third time. Crystal repeated his words to Peter. "I don't think that's one warning we should ignore. Relinquished really does mean it Peter."

"Fantastic, your protection is pretty handy. All the same, if she manages to defeat you in another Shadow Duel, I'm not sure how effective your protection will be. So we'd best be alert. Also, if Ruby is this powerful and with Relinquished's warning... well it's not going to be an easy task defeating her."

"No. Do you reckon the Shadow Vipers are ordered like the Shadow Riders and that the bigger the number you are the more dangerous?" asked Crystal. "If so, then Ruby is probably the fifth or sixth Shadow Viper to be darker than the darkest Shadow."

OoC: Are the Vipers on the list on the front page arranged in order of power? We might need to decide on a hierarchy for them, so we know for sure who's the strongest.

 

"Good point, I wouldn't say she's the sixth but she's definitely one of the more powerful ones, Miya certainly didn't appear to have Psychic powers."

OoC: I'll probably have to go now, or in the next 5 minutes, so please don't have a major showdown before tomorrow, and if you do Supercardman101 can control my character (to a limited extent, like "Koga and Peter watched as..."), just so my character has the information and I don't have to waste time with my character asking what happened.

"Pete, I hope you know what you're doing..." said Crystal as the dome appeared.

 

He knows alright Crystal ... but what I fear is if he can walk through this ... Suddenly Crystal remembered something. She pulled out the spare pendant Peter had given her ages ago and chucked it. It fell straight through the dome walls and hopefully into Peter's hand.

"It's getting late, let's go to bed," said Crystal. "See you in the morning Pete. Night." She walked off to her dorm. This time her Relinquished deck stayed put. "I hope you're satisfied enough." She heard him chuckle, but he said nothing else. She got changed and soon fell asleep.
