AJ: (thinking) 2 more CB's and she'll have enough for Abundance, and due to the tree's effect if i destory he face down she'll have 1 counter on the tree, then she has to sack the tree and use it next turn (draws) i'll remove Red Eyes from play and bring forth the Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (2800), and due to his effect i can bring Chthonian Emperor Dragon back from the grave (2400), and now i'll activate my Emperor Dragons effect, i'll summon him once more so he can attack twice in the same battle phase (the emperor dragon roars loudly)

 

AJ: Red Eyes Darkness Metal destory her face down monster!

"Reveal trap card! Waboku!" yelled Crystal. "Now all damage dealt in this turn is zero! And that monster you destroyed happened to be Emerald Tortoise. Now he'll go into the Spell and Trap zone. And now I'll place one counter on Crystal Tree."

I need another miracle draw ... if I remember correctly, I had two Pots of Greed in this deck... She drew the next card. "Graceful Charity!" She discarded two cards. "Now I'll activate the other Pot of Greed I happened to have slipped in." She drew again. "Now I'll remove Crystal Tree to place Amber Mammoth in the Spell and Trap. And now that I have four in the Spell and Trap zone, due to Rainbow City I can draw one more card. And now activate the card you were fearing the most - Crystal Abundance!" All cards were destroyed. "And now I can bring back three Crystal Beasts so come on Pegasus, Tortoise and Mammoth! Now I'll send all three Continous Spell cards to the graveyard to play a monster I think you should be quite familiar with - Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder!" The great Sacred Beast card rose. "And here's another thing. With Graceful Charity, I discarded two more Crystal Beasts. And now there are seven in my Graveyard, so introducing the last card in my hand - Rainbow Dragon!" The dragon rose and roared loudly. "It's over AJ! Go, Hamon and Rainbow Dragon, attack AJ directly and win this duel!"

--the move was good, but 1 problem due to Crystal Abundance it let's you summon the CB's not place them in the spell and trap zone, so you can't summon Hamon, that's the only thing wrong with the move, i still lost though

 

AJ: 0000

Crystal: 6900

 

AJ: hmhmhmhahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! (in a dark voice) i need to thank you for that girl, now that AJ is out of the picture (suddenly a mask covers the duelists face) i can use him for my own! (Nightshroud now stands before Crystal) by you weakening the boy threw a duel i was able to get into his head and controll his body

"No ... AJ!" screamed Crystal. But it was too late. AJ had turned into Nightshroud ... there was no way he was going to abandon that deck now ... "Give him back!" Tears were forming in her eyes. She freely let them run. Unlike any normal tears, these ones looked silver. She felt like it had been her who had lost the duel, not AJ - she had tried to convince him to throw that deck aside ... but it had all gone horribly wrong...

(Why won't Peter confide in us? Oh no... my amulet's glowing. Crystal!) Koga ran to the arena, bursting through the doors. When Koga saw what had happened, his heart missed a beat. "Crystal! What happened? Did you lose? And... is that Nightshroud? I thought Jaden destroyed him ages ago. And where's AJ? Wait a minute... oh god. It's Atticus all over again. This is now longer just about the deck. He is now being controlled entirely by Nightshroud. We're in trouble..."

(meanwhile AJ opened his eyes, he felt weak, very weak, he had no idea where he was, all he could see was black, black as far as his eyes could see, he tried to move but he couldn't, something was binding him, contsricting him)

 

AJ: (tries but struggle free but it is in vain) w-w-where am i? w-why can't i move?

 

????: don't try to resist, the shadow's have you now

 

AJ: who's there? (suddenly a figure walks infront of him, although it is dark AJ can see the figure clearly) who are you?!

 

Nightshroud: i am Nightshroud, and i hope you feel at home here, becuase you'll be in the shadow's for quite some time

 

AJ: (thinking) shadows? ngh! am i in the shadow realm?!

 

Nightshroud: that's correct (AJ looks at the dark being) thanks to your friend Crystal weakening you in a duel i was able to overpower your mind and take controll of you

 

AJ: Crystal? where is she? IF YOU HURT HER I SWEAR I'LL........

 

Nightshroud: and what will you do? you're stuck here for the time being (turns) now if you don't mind, i have some matters to attend to, hahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! (walks off into the darkness leaving AJ alone in the darkness)

 

(in reality) Nightshroud: don't cry my dear, eventually, you'll join AJ in the shadows, but for now, i'll take me leave (Nightshroud makes a portal of darkness and disappears in an instant)

 

--have to shovel snow be back in a half hour

OoC: I've got to go after this post. Also, I probably won't be on much tomorrow; I'm going to a friend's party after school.

 

"Nightshroud! I see that after your humiliating defeat at the hands of Jaden, you've returned to possessing students again. Well you didn't succeed last time, and you won't this time." As Koga stepped towards the possessed AJ, he dissapeared with a flash of flames.

"Peter ... Koga ... I beat him," explained Crystal. It was hard to hold her tears back. "But by beating him I've weakened his defences so much Nightshroud's taken over! I feel so bad. When we went undefeated, it was heartbreaking seeing him turn evil. Now that I've beaten him, he's become even more evil! What can I do? Everything I've done seems to have taken a turn for the worse. Is there absolutely nothing we can do to help AJ?"

Matthias watches as his partner walks up.

 

"You ready?"

 

"There not asleep yet, something must have happened, I'll go check it out, can you get everything ready" He sprints off down toward the arena.

 

He stoppes by the arena to see if he can hear anything

 

He got there at about the time Crystal explained what had happened.

 

"I need these cards more than ever..."

 

He runs off back to Vent, and suddenly collapses.

 

When he wakes he's in a room. more like a hall decorated with gold from door to door, excxept there weere no doors.

 

"No! Take me back!"

 

"Now why would we do that?"

 

"Because you owe me!"

 

Maybe so, but you didn't save all three of us."

 

"So what if Pyrus died, I thought you could retrieve him from the grave!"

 

"No, Pyrus could retrieve us from the Grave, we can do it but you have to use us"

 

"If you get destroyed in a duel you'll die, thats how Pyrus died"

 

"Oh well, by the way, how was that brick to the head."

 

"Kaslus, you know I almost died!"

 

"We were hoping you would"

 

"Hisonus, you're here too I see"

 

"We have another mission for you."

 

"And this time dont kill us."

 

"It was only Pyrus, by the way, is the grave communication up?"

 

"Yes, you know where it is"

 

Matthias runs into a hall and turns off inot a door.

 

"Hi Pyrus, um sorry again about the loss"

 

YOU KILLED ME! YOU DESTROYED MY CLAWS

 

"I have a favor to ask"

 

"Whats that?"

 

"I need to put your brothers in my deck, if we get the key cards I can sacrifice one of them to bring you back"

 

Fine! Do it!

 

Then the world came back to Matthias and there were the cards, Dragon Lords Hisonus and Kaslus.

 

"I've got work to do."

OoC: Congrats on the fifth star Leonic! *STREAMERS!*

 

Aaron stared out at the ocean horizon, his face grim and set with the task that he was about to embark on. Earlier that day he had received a letter from home along with a parcel. Out of the parcel had fallen a deck, a deck that held many painful memories for him.

 

'My Dearest Aaron, I write to you in a pit of desperation. Your Father has taken a turn for the worse and has had to be returned to the asylum. For his safety, and for the safety of those around him, I have sent the source of his madness, his Underworld Deck, to the one person that I know can keep it safe... you. Please resist the urge to use it, it corrupts all that it touches. However, I know that you are a man now and that you will make the right decision... Mom.'

 

This deck nearly killed his entire family when he was a child. He still had nightmares of the Dragons, how they attacked and became real... The unfortunate truth was that the allure of this deck was so strong, that no-one could ever destroy it. "If destiny handed me this deck for a reason... it had better be good!"

(the darkness is almost endless, so unsettling, he couldn't see anything, could hear, couldn't speak, AJ sat there in the shadows bounded by chains that seemed to come from nowhere, thoughts seemed to slip from his mind, he thought about the academy and his past adventures.......they began to fade, his memories of his deck, his CB's...........they began to fade, the memories of his friends.......they began to fade, his memories of Crystal.........a tear fell from his eyes..........)

 

AJ: Crystal...........

 

(meanwhile Nightshroud was near the location of the abandoned dorm)

 

Nightshroud: things are beginning to get interesting, it seems these Shadow Vipers are trying to steal my thunder, it seems like i'll have to steal back my reputation, and to do that i'll just have to eleminate these wannabe's 1 by 1, hahaha! (walks off to find his first victim)
