Vent ran into a tunnel and then he saw a red vault door. It was engraved with a flame emblem in the center of the door.

 

Metthias must be taking on the water guardian. He hasn't come yet.

 

Vent walked up to the door.

 

*knock knock*

 

No answer. Vent opened the door. Behind it there was a card with a bright light shining towards it. Vent ran to get it, but as soon as he touched it, a voice rang.

 

"Who dares take the Golem of Fire without my permission?"

 

A man jumped down from the ceiling. He was wearing red armor with a flame emblem that mathced the one on the vault-door.

 

"Pyro! I'm here to challenge you for that key card and the peice of the map!"

 

"Very well. If it's a Shadow Game you want..."

 

Shadows came from Pyro's feet and surrounded the room trapping both Pyro and Vent.

 

"It's a Shadow Game you shall get!"

Pyro opened a duel disk from a plate from his arm. Vent unfolded his duel disk as well.

 

Both at the same time: "LET'S GO! DUEL!!!"

OoC: I gotta go to school in 5 but I can take one turn

 

Pyro: I get homefield advantage.

 

It draws his cards.

 

Pyro: I'll summon Solar Flare Drgon (1500/1000) in attack mode, then i'll set two face-downs. Your turn.

Aaron clipped the Underworld deck to his belt with considerable trepidation. Every single one of his best friends were hiding something... that much he knew... If he had to enter the Darkness to uncover it and pull them back from the precipice, then so be it. It wouldn't be the first time he had to.

[Negimalevolent]

"This isn't good... everythings taking a turn for the worst!"

[Queen-Dragoon]

Aaron now sat in the Cafeteria, relaxing against one of the long, plastic benches. He had not really had much of an appetite for the past few days. "I wonder where everyone is..."

[Naimo]

"Hey Aaron," said Crystal when she saw him. She sat down opposite him. "Are you alright? You don't look very well."

[Negimalevolent]

[sit's down in cafetiria, with sandwhich]

"Hey guys... ugh this must be the worst day here at the acadamy, everythings going wrong!"

[Queen-Dragoon]

"Here... read the letter... It should explain as much as I want to tell..."

[Goldeneagle]

OoC: 4 of the deck recipies used by my character are rubbish, so I've decided to get rid of them in case I need a new deck.

 

Koga was looking at his five decks, when suddenly a gust of wind blew all but one of them away. Startled, he grabbed the last deck. It was his Icicle Storm deck. (Phew. I can't believe 4 of my decks were blown away. All those memories... Iron Chain Golem, Dark Rising Golem, Temporal Escapologist... gone. Well, at least I can make some new decks now. And my Icicle Storm's never failed me yet.) Koga headed for the cafeteria, with his Icicle Storm deck safe in his duel disk. He saw Crystal, Peter and Aaron reding a letter. "What's that?" he asked them, curious.

[Naimo]

"I'm sorry Aaron," said Crystal. "Pete, what do you mean by everything's going wrong?"

[Queen-Dragoon]

"I have to warn you now, if I ever use this deck it would be in your best interests to run as far away as possible. Any duel I use it in automatically becomes real, and a shadow game."

[Negimalevolent]

"Aj has turned into nightshroud... that cal---- no, not that, um... oh! the shadow vipers, and uh... the mysterious appearances of decks in dorm room!"

[Goldeneagle]

"Whoah... who'd use a deck like that? They'd have to be insane..."

[Naimo]

"I haven't had a mysterious deck appearance," said Crystal. She heard Relinquished talk to her once more.

 

I protected you.

 

What?

 

Someone did try to give you a mysterious deck but I stopped them. As long as I am by your side, the Shadows will never claim you.

[Queen-Dragoon]

"Whoah... who'd use a deck like that? They'd have to be insane..."

 

Aaron had to clench his fist to stop himself from shouting. "My Father did..."

OoC: I did know actually, I read the letter on the earlier post, but I wanted to add some tension into the storyline.

 

"Umm... I'm so sorry Aaron. I didn't know."

[Naimo]

"Well done Koga," said Crystal quietly.

[Queen-Dragoon]

"It's not your fault... He was corrupted by this deck and nearly destroyed my hometown. Fortunately it gave me some perspective on the balance of good and evil."

[Goldeneagle]

[Negimalevolent]

"Uh, Crystal... are you sure you didn't end up with a new deck? i mean you seem to talk to yourself a lot now..."

[Naimo]

"I haven't got a new deck ... look, if you really want to know, the copy of Relinquished I have is acting like Chazz's Ojama Yellow duel spirit. He's not exactly annoying me, but he's made me build a deck that focuses around him, and at times he keeps stabbing in. According to him, someone had tried to slip me a new deck but he had stopped them," explained Crystal. "He's got his own mind. One moment he seems to be against me, he gets annoyed when I don't use his deck, and next moment he's protecting me!"

[Negimalevolent]

"Well you get my point, even rub...y.........um.... sorry I'll just eat this now..." [raises sandwhich]

[Naimo]

"Even rub what?" asked Crystal. "Come on Peter, what is you haven't told us that you should have? Like how you became unconscious for a start."

[Queen-Dragoon]

"Peter, think about what your going to say if there are things you don't want us to know."

[Negimalevolent]

"N- No... I- I just can't tell you! I- I can't!"
