Suddenly her surroundings formed and she was standing on a hillside, looking out at a vast, wide valley full of trees and white smoke. "I've never seen here before ... wow. I wonder where I am." She walked down the hill. It was a good thing she wore shorts instead of a mini-skirt, and boots with no heels (OoC: the uniform at Ultima is the same as Duel Academy, right?).

I have to save that boy. That dragon is corrupting him just as it corrupted me. I have to save him from the intense suffering that one must pay for the use of Hisonus. I have to win this Shadow Game and banish that cursed beast to the Shadow Relam.

Aaron was lying on his bed asleep when his Underworld deck began reacting to something. A shadow game was beginning somewhere on the island. Aaron decided to go search for it.

 

OoC: Mind if I watch your duel Flurry?

Crystal eventually finished going down the mountain. She was now standing at the edge of the valley. Be careful Mistress, a great force lives in this valley. Soon or later they will try to duel you, see if you are worthy of this force.

 

Are you saying they want me to join?

 

No. They want some outsider to hold the force, use it. Just go in, and see what happens. Crystal walked into the valley. It didn't seem that bad when suddenly a nearby figure jumped out. Crystal leapt back and realised who she was seeing.

 

"Elemental Hero Wildheart?" she cried. The monster said nothing but tried to attack her. Crystal was suddenly thankful for her past martial arts experience. She dodged the sword in time and ran for it. Strangely Wildheart didn't follow her. She was suddenly conscious she was running down a path. All around her insect and plant type monsters were looking at her run. She was aware Relinquished was by her, scaring off anyone who dared to try and attack her. At last she reached a clearing, where the men from Mystical Royal Library stood. The leader had a duel disk on his arm.

 

"You have made it human. Now you must past the tests."

 

"What tests?" demanded Crystal.

 

"You will duel three monsters," explained the man. "Each one with increasing difficulty. If you can win these duels, then you will be declared strong enough to wield the force that lay hidden here. Now, let's duel."

 

"Very well, I will use my Spellcasters," said Crystal as her duel disk activated. "Now let's get your game on!"

Koga was sitting down in the arena, bored and looking for a duel. Since Crystal had mysteriously disappeared, he'd not only been worried but bored also. He hadn't had a good duel in days.

Peter was walking all over the acadamy, looking for someone to help him figure out everything when:

"I'll start," said Crystal. She drew a card. "Now I'll Set a monster and throw two face downs. Your turn!"

 

"Very well." He drew a card. "I'll play Natural Cliff in attack mode. Now attack her face down monster!"

 

"You've just destroyed Witch of the Black Forest, and her effect activates! And I choose Breaker the Magical Warrior!"

 

"I'll throw a face down and end it there. Your move!" Crystal drew. She looked down at the card and felt like laughing.

 

"It's time to shove this in your face. First I'll play Breaker the Magical Warrior. I'll remove a Spell Counter from him to destroy your face down! Now I'll activate Magical Dimension. By tributing Breaker, I can Special Summon Dark Magician! And Magical Dimension also allows me to destroy one monster - so goodbye Natural Cliff! And now I'll activate one of my face downs - Call of the Haunted! Now I'll return Witch of the Black Forest to my hand. Next I'll activate the spell card Magical Combination!"

 

 

"Now by treating that card as Sangan and Polymerization, I can create Sanwitch! With nothing to stop me now, Sanwitch and Dark Magician, attack directly!"

Nightshroud: i'll go first, i'll summon my red eyes black chick in attack mode, but then by activating his speical ablility i'll send him to the grave to call out my Red Eyes Black Dragon (2400), then i'll play 1 card face down and end, show me what you can do Shadow Viper

 

Damion: (draws) i'll activate my MST and destory your face down (Nightshroud's face down was destoryed) then i'll summon GB Laquari (1800) then i'll equip him with my Gladiator Beast's Battle Archfiend Shield, now Laquari attack Red Eyes. (the GB attacked the dragon but did not destory and Damion lost 600 points)

Damion: 7400

 

Nightshroud: what was the point of that? you knew your monster wasn't strong enough

 

Damion: true but due the the effect of the sheild even though i took damage my GB is unharmed, and next i'll activate my beasts second effect since it attacked i can swap it out for another GB and due the the effect of the archfiend shield it will go back to my hand (the spell came back to Damion's hand) now i'll swap out Laquari for Murmillo (800) and due to his effect now i can destroy 1 face up monster on the field so say goodbye to red eyes (the dragon shattered)

 

Nightshroud: WHAT?!

 

Damion: now i'll play 2 facedowns and end there

The man drew and a sly smile crossed his face. "Oh I'll be able to get out of this one. I play Natural Nerve. Now I'll activate Double Summon, and I'll use my additional summon on Natural Ant Jaw. Those two won't be on for long - I will use my tuner and Ant Jaw to create Natural Gaodrake! Now I'll activate the spell card Metamorph! This will double Goadrake's ATK to 6000. Now, let's wipe that Sanwitch off the field!"

 

"Sorry but this duel's over. Activate Magic Cylinder! Not only is your attack neogiated, you also take damage equal to that monster's attack points!"

 

"What? NO! I CANNOT LOOSE!"

 

"You will! Now Magic Cylinder, do your thing!" At once a cylinder appeared on the field. Goadrake went leaping into the cylinder, which vanished and reformed in front of Magical Royal Library. The beast leapt out and attacked, causing his Life Points to drop to zero. The monsters faded.

 

"Good job human," said the man as he got up. "Now for the next duel." He and his friends parted and a beast Crystal recognised with her duel from Aaron appeared. It was Wulf, Lightsworn Beast.

 

"It's my go," he growled in a deep voice. There was a duel disk on his clawed hand.

Ruby: Fine, Draw! I play, Lightning Vortex! Destroy stratos!

 

Peter: Heh...

 

Ruby: Now I play double summon and summon my Worm Barrates, I'll sacrifice it to summon Worm King! Now attack directly my Precious!

 

Peter: Halt! Go Dimension wall!

 

Ruby: Argh! Fine I play a face down and that's all!

(OoC: this is going to get so confusing caus of three seperate duels at the same time lol)

 

"I'll go first," said Wulf as he drew. "First I play Foolish Burial, which shall send myself to the Graveyard. And because of my effect, I can Special Summon myself back to the field. Now I will play Ehren, Lightsworn Monk. Next I'll play a face down and end my turn. Your move human."

 

"Can everyone stop calling me human?" demanded Crystal as she drew. "First I play Neo the Magic Swordsman in attack mode!"

 

"Big deal."

 

"Yeah, it's a really big deal because I activate Lightning Vortex! Now by discarding one card from my hand - Chaos Command Magician to be precise - I can destroy all monsters on your side of the field. Now I'll activate Monster Reborn to rebirth Chaos Command Magician. Now Neo and my Magician, attack Wulf directly!"

Nightshroud: fine! (draws) i'll play my Hunter Dragon in attack mode, but then i'll remove him from play and summon my Red Eyes Darknes Metal Dragon (2800) then i'll activate his ability and bring back my Red Eyes (2400) Darkness Metal, wipe that trout off the field!!!

 

Damion: i don't think so, i'll activate my Defensive Tactics trap, now not only can my GB not be destoryed in battle but all damage i take this turn becomes 0

 

Nightshroud: NGH! you have to be kidding me!

 

Damion: and since you attacked now i can swap out Murmillo for another GB, so come forth GB Retiari, due to his ability i can remove 1 card in your grave from play so say goodbye to you chick

 

Nightshroud: fine, i'll end my turn there

 

Damion: big mistake (draws) i'll summon GB Bestiari, but he won't be here for long becuase i'll now contact fuse my 2 GB together

 

Nightshroud: wait, contact fuse?! (it sounds just like......)

 

Damion: by sending both Bestiari and another GB back to my deck i can call forth Gladiator Beast Gyzarus! (2400) and due to his ability i can destroy 2 cards on the field so both your dragons are finished

 

Nightshroud: IMPOSSIBLE! (both of his creatures shattered)

 

Damion: Gyzarus, he's open! (the GB attacked)

Damion: since my GB attacked i'll send him back to my fusion deck and call forth 2 more GB's from my deck so come forth Laquari (2100) and Andal (1900) i'll place 1 more car facedown and end

 

Nightshroud: (how is this happening? why is he so strong?)

Damion: hmph (reveals his facedown) i'll activate my GB War Chariot, if i control a GB i can negate the effect of one of you creatures and destory it

 

Nightshroud: damn it! (his dragon shatters once more) fine, i'll play my Decoy Dragon in attack mode (300), and end my turn there

 

Damion: playing no facedowns to protect yourself? or is it becuase your deck is so obsesed with power it doesn't have any?

 

Nightshroud: SHUT UP!

 

Damion: all the same (draws) i won't lose, i'll place 1 monster in defense mode and i'll have Laquari attack your dragon

 

Nightshroud: you fool, due to the effect of my dragon once he's attacked i can swap him out for a level 7 or highter dragon in my grave, so come forth Red Eyes (2400) your GB will burn!

 

Damion: i doubt that, i'll activate my second Defensive Tactics

 

Nightshroud: no, now you can swap again

 

Damion: correct, and i'll swap for GB Murmillo, and destory your Red Eyes (the dragon shattered) then i'll place 2 cards face down and end

"I play Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner," said Wulf. "And I'll end my turn."

 

"My draw." Crystal drew. This can't be right, why would he just play a monster like that and do nothing?. "Now I'll summon to the field Rapid Fire Magician. Now I'll play Mystical Space Typhoon and destroy your face down. Rapid Fire Magician, attack Lumina! Now with the field clear, go Neo and my Magician! And I call that another win." The beast collapsed from the blow. He soon got up.

 

"Very good. But beware, the last contender exceeds us."

 

"Well I'm ready." Suddenly the earth shook and heavy winds blew. Crystal yelped. This last contender was definately powerful. A dark shadow fell over and Crystal looked into the sky. She couldn't help but gape as her final opponent came into view...

Ruby: Exelent, I play Heavy storm!"

 

Peter: Stop, I play My body as a shield!

 

Ruby: Go Attack Directly!

 

Peter: Once again I counter! With Magic Cylender!

(draws and smirk) hmhmhmhahaHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! this is it! with this card i'll destroy you! i'll activate my Rage of Red Eyes spell card, by sacraficing 4000 of my LP's i'll blow you away, becuase now i can summon any monster in my graveyard hand or deck that has Red Eyes in it's name of has Red Eyes as a fusion monster!

Nightshroud: now come forth Black Skull Dragon (3200) Meteor Black Dragon (3500) Red Eyes Darkness Dragon (2400) Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (2800) and Red Eyes Ultimate Dragon (4200)!!!!! (Damion glanced at all the dragons before smirking) NOW YOU'LL BURN!!! (all the dragons attacked)

"You are joking me ... not a Blue Eyes White Dragon," muttered Crystal. Unfortunately it was. A person hopped off the back and Crystal recognised him. "Kaibaman!"

 

"I shall be the one you duel," said Kaibaman. "Did you really think you would be facing a dragon? He's a good friend, yes, but sadly he can't understand card games. Not that it matters, because when you loose he will blow you to smithereens!"

 

"I don't think so. I think it will be you who lose. And I will once again be using my -" She tried to say Spellcaster but the word never came out. What was going on? Why couldn't she say it? "-Relinquished deck." What? Relinquished, I want an explaintion!

 

Your Spellcasters do not stand a chance against three Blue Eyes. Trust me with this.

Damion: and it i'm correct due to your spell cards ability, all of you dragons are now removed from play (all of the dragons disappeared off the field) but since you attacked i can now swap once more, i'll send my GB Hoplomus to my deck and call for Sparticus (2200) also i'll trade in Murmillo for Laquari (2100), i'll leave Darius where he is

 

Nightshroud: that doesn't mean i'm done, i'll play a monster in defense and end

 

Damion: i'll draw (draws) now i'll end this duel, i'll contact fuse my Laquari and my Sparticus together and bring forth Gladiator Beast Gaiodiaz! (2600) now attack his face down monster (Dragon dwelling the the caves was destroyed (DEF 2000)

 

Nightshroud: at least my monster was in defense mode

 

Damion: sry but that won't change things due to my GB effect he'll deal damage equal to your monsters DEF points to you LP

 

Nightshroud: WHAT?! then that means.......

 

Damion: game over Nightshroud (the GB created a shockwave that blasted Nightshroud and dropped his LP down to 0)

(after the holograms disappeared Nightshroud began to fall foward)

 

Nightshroud: n-no, N-N-NO!!! i can't.....let this happen! you'll burn......YOU'LL EVENTUALLY BURN!!!!! (as he fell Nightshroud began to fade as he faded a figure became more visable underneath the disappearing body, slowly but surely the figure became more visable until AJ feel from the dissolveing darkness onto the arena floor)
