Lol the reason I am posting this is because one, those member writing a Wrestling Fan-Fic lack on the match details and inspiration.

Two, I was playing a wrestling game, and both of these matches, I almost lost >_>

Oh, and in case your wondering, the name I was going to originally pick was already taken, >_>

This is not how to write a fanfic. This looks like written-out script for an online wrestling game.

Because that's what it is' date=' and that's why this thread was dismissed as being completely wrong.

If wrestling fanfics were written like this, nobody would read them, period.

[/quote']

Lol, nobody reads them anyway already.

There isn't a right and wrong, theres only the way you like it.

Also, it is from a auto script, and it is from a game, Nitton, way to not read the intro.

Fanfics are novels. This isn't a novel.

And yes' date=' I noticed you said that you were playing some sort of game, but I thought you were using it as an inspiration. I could rewrite this properly, but I don't have the resources atm.

[/quote']

When I was getting at "this is how to write and fan-fic wrestling MATCH"

I wasn't talking about the structural writing, I was talking about the fact that its not just:

So-so gets in the ring, so-so hits, person B, person B falls, Person B gets up and hits so-so, Person B pins so-so.

The wrestling fan-fics that are being written, are not expressing what is actually happening in the match, even though it is a made up match, the reader is not drawn into the tension of the match, it's just a big block of letters, whose pay off, is not worth the read.

But I'm sure it was good considering that you wrote it. :)

Huh? I didn't write the match. :? Do you mean that I wrote the thread? Im also assuming you meant that as an attack.

This is not how it's done. I can tell that, and I've barely read any of it.

Because of your PM's

"Please, comment my fan-fic"

"I was wondering, why you guys haven't commented on my fan-fic"

"Remember, I always like reading new replies to my fan-fic when I get up"

"Please, Please comment my fan-fic"

Lol, just because people comment, doesn't mean they read the whole thing.

The bolded, explains my reasoning, for Fan-Fics (Wrestling) being so damn lazily written.

I meant that I barely read any of yours. It's just boring. People don't want to sit and read a three-page long Wrestling Match.

What's wrong with sending the PMs? Especially when pretty much everyone has told me it's okay. Some people even prefer it because they don't always remember to check for a new episode.

Why to not read the Intro.

I didn't write this, it is off of a game.

Why write, when you don't read?

It's like being a cop, and not following the rules.

Or being a taxmen, when your 100,000 dollars in debt.

The PMs are to alert our fans and readers when a new episode is released. What you wrote is worse than ragnarok and Blaze.

Ladies and Gentlemen, two writers who don't read.

Way to not evolve.

Why not read? Because it was incredibly boring. I'm not going to read something if it's not interesting. There's a difference between using detail and using too much detail.

Plus, you can be a writer and not a reader. I love to write, but I don't like to read, unless it's one of Umbra's Fan-Fics.

If nobody reads them, tell me, why does WWE Legacy (mine and Swift's Fan-Fic) have nearly 700 posts?

Ladies and Gentlemen' date=' two writers who don't read.

Way to not evolve.

[/quote']

Why not read? Because it was incredibly boring. I'm not going to read something if it's not interesting. There's a difference between using detail and using too much detail.

Which is exactly why your fan-fic is boring, not enough detail.

Plus, you can be a writer and not a reader. I love to write, but I don't like to read, unless it's one of Umbra's Fan-Fics.

Yes you can be a writer and not read. But you will never be estinguished as a writer if you fail, to go the roots of where writing comes from.

My WWE Legacy Fan-Fic used to be a lot worse than it is now. And if you want detail, just look at my Land of Nightmares Fan-Fic. But whatever, I'm not here to advertise, I'm here to make a point. This has too much detail, whereas WWE Legacy has a good amount. Sure, it could probably be a little more detailed, but a lot of people don't enjoy reading for hours on end, so it's better to not go overboard with detail.

If it's a good read, anyone will read it for however long they need to.

I am commenting about wrestling fan-fics, no other fan-fics.

Time to step in with my 0,02 Euros.

In all honesty, these match logs do have the right amount 0f moves. The way the text is structured would be unacceptable in any fanfic, but it goes into enough detail for a match to look realistic. This is actually the kind of length, the kind of moves a Main Event match should have. If you're describing a match, you can't leave out reversals, drop toe holds and other smaller moves, or else it'll seem like the entire thing is all about huge grapples and Irish Whips, which is unrealistic.

As Bloodrun said, if it's written properly, and I'll add, if the setup for the match was properly done and advertised (i.e., PPV Main Event Matches), then yes, fans will read the whole thing and thrive on the detail. Believe me, I'm on that side. ;)

That said, these logs are probably not the best way to find that extra detail, as they are poorly written and the moves are articulated awkwardly. Still, it's a game, and within those parameters, it's alright. Not acceptable for a fanfic, but all the details of a real match are in there.

Lol the game was created by a "foriegner"(sp), I say that, because I don't know exactly where is from.

And you can tell he speaks a different main language, as some of the normal american aren't properly written. But yeah, you get what I am trying to say.

In the script, the color of the wrestlers name, changes on the "health" of the superstar. The same thing goes for the moves, except they change based on the "strength".
