[spoiler=Awards History]The YCM Awards is a monthly event held on our site to honour our dear members for various things. The YCM awards were founded by Johanderson. They're an important part of YCM and one of the few things that keep YCM in touch with the old YCM. The Diplomatic Council of February 2009Cyber Altair (Badge Maker and Host)Opal/Raven (Vote counter)Umbra (Vote counter)Infinity Sparker (Vote counter)Riku (Vote counter)Yoshigohan (Vote counter)Roxas (Vote counter) For the first time ever we're having 7 council members. YAY. Please read this before you vote*) From the the 2nd to the 10th of March you can vote for people in the different categories. you can see below.*) You cannot vote for yourself for any awards. (This also counts for the awards under the "Best" Category)*) Please avoid "X or Y" votes. You can only vote for one member in each category. If you were hesitating between some members, please make your final choice clear. It makes it extremely annoying for us to count your votes.*) You cannot vote for the same member in more than 3 different categories.*) You cannot change your votes. If you feel unsure about one or some categories, you are free to leave a blank space. The only exception is when a council member clearly asked you to edit one or more invalid votes.*) You do not need to vote for all of the categories.*) "Votes-scamming" is not allowed. I don't want to see anything in the style of "I voted for you, now I expect you to do the same".*) Just list the votes in the categories you're voting in. It makes it easier to count the votes later.*) "I didn't get votes =[". These kind of posts are not tolerated and will be reported and be dealt with. Description of New AwardsAs you can see we have a new format and many new awards. "Best Signature" - Includes everything from text to tags whether or not it was made by them. In short the sig that look best to you."Best Avatar" - Obvious. Best Avatar used by a member."Most Helpful Member" - Again Obvious. This is not to be confused with Friendliest as a friendly person is a friend of everyone whereas a helpful person helps new and old members with questions and such."Best CardMaker" - Overall Best Card Maker. Not limited to any section of the CC Section. Also you might be wondering what's the difference between "King/Queen" and the "Best" Awards. "King/Queen" are awarded to a certain person who's presence is visible and impact is obvious and deserve to be the "King/Queen" of the section. For now we are not adding the Multimedia Sections until they develop a little more. "Best" Awards are awarded to thing's like Threads (eg. Roleplay, Shops) and things (eg. Decks, Avi).
