Jericho
You need to recolor the whole thing according to the light source, not just copy/paste/flip. And as said before, boarders are key.
Zeroshot
SynchronizingIn splicing, it means Copy, Paste, FlipThat is one of the biggest no-nos in splicing.Another no-no is getting rid of borders. The easiest way to avoid that is to paste the base sprites (In this case Scyther and Electrode) into a Word Document, then copy from the document and paste into paint.Your third no-no revolves around the feet. NEVER use the same part of a pokemon for 2 seperate, distinct parts. It looks unnatural and when done with feet, gives the sprite the appearence that it has to go potty. The next no-no has nothing to do with the sprite. Crop your picture down a bit, it's massive. The 5th no-no is that you uncolored your borders. 5 no-nos/
