Hi. Welcome to another thread by Faint Brushfire. ^^;

 

It's quite simple, here you can post any Maps that you've made with either Advance Map, Elite Map or RPG Maker XP.

 

Alright, that's it. :P Here are some Maps I've made recently.

@ Swann - Not terrible. Too Nintendo-like. Flowers and tree's in a pattern is too Nintendo-like.

Go to PokéCommunity and check out Neti's Mapping Tutorial under: ROM Hacking > Documents & Tutorials. There are some other decent Mapping tutorials there too.

I just made this map last night' date=' Pallet Town for my new games ^^

Review: I like the size of your maps, it's one thing that I've always been happy with. It's much to square but for a map based on Pallet Town I guess it's expected. The difference in houses is a bit strange to say the least- normally all house types in a town are the same. I like the detail and depth of the map, but the random dirt patches out side each house are random. The fences around the houses and the nicely map river are both great, I was happy to see that the river wasn't square. Good job overall.

 

Rating: 8.34/10.

Review: There are some tile errors' date=' but they can't be avoided without inserting new tiles (an example is the stairs going down the mountain). I don't know the point in the hill to the left of the mountain; seems rather random. There are tiles errors on the rocks; you've used the rocks that are supposed to be used on sand. You also used the wrong trees down the side, you're supposed to use the other middle base. Use more grass variations and try to get a less square look; trees rarely go in straight lines. The flowers are spread around nicely, along with the small trees in the middle. Overall, it's not bad but it could do with a lot of work.

Review:: The map is unplayable, and you've used incorrect trees are borders. When creating a map like this make sure to use a path going to each building. The rocks around the water are un-needed and pretty pointless, and the flowers are laid around in a Nintendo-like fashion. Don't always put a PC and a Mart in every town, that's Nintendo's way of doing things. As for the wild Pokémon grass; don't put it in that fashion. Grass doesn't grow like that.

 

Rating: 4.86/10. Keep trying!

I call it Complex Cavern

 

Review: Very simple and there's not much to comment on. There are tile errors on the rocks' date=' though. Next time when posting a map like this; post it all. That includes the other "floors" of the Cave.

I decided not to Review Icy's maps out of both laziness and that I don't think he needs it. :P
