The designers of this game obviously don't think that torrential tribute is OP, otherwise it would be on the ban list with raigeki etc. Failed rescue has A) more specific requirements that are met much less often than torrential B) An actual cost C) An extra bonus that destroys magic and traps. Monster Reborn / Silent Rebirth / Swing of Memories / O - Oversoul + This = Field Destruction. The cost is just slightly higher, so make the effect just slightly better.
