Galaxy613
I'm new at this. Just gotten back into Yu-Gi-Oh a month or two ago, and me and my bro thought it'll be pretty sweet if there were Cthuhlu cards.. so I then remembered this site and started working on making my own set. I will try to find all the sites I got the artwork from, I honestly went all over to get the best looking pieces of art I could find and I forgot to keep tabs on where I got them. If I didn't credit an artist and he comes forward, I'll be more than happy to take down the card until I can find a new piece of artwork to use in it. *EDIT!* In prep for my local college's group of Yu-Gi-Oh players tourney of "make your own decks", I've decided to start making new cards and get this series ready for action. I've actually was able to do some testing of my deck today. I never got Cthulhu himself out, like ever, the person running the event took a look at my cards and ruled them acceptable, even my Cthuhlu card because it's so damn hard to get out. And it IS. I'm running like 3 Mystic Tomatos to try to get the Cultists out... anyways: Main places I found the artwork: http://s259.photobucket.com/albums/hh286/Molkrom/Lovecraft Madnesshttp://members.shaw.ca/csstrowbridge/Tulzscha/Information.htmhttp://www.komarckart.com/ccg_coc10.htmlAnd Google I've tried my best to keep grammar and the card effects as close as realistic as possible. Often looking at my own cards for inspiration and proper capitalization and etc. Without further adu, here's my cards related to the Lovecraft Mythos: ~~~~~ C'thulhu Set ~~~~~[spoiler=EN000-EN005][spoiler=Great Cthulhu]Can only be special summoned by "Ritual of C'thulhu". Galaxy613
The ritual is way overpowerd way way way overpowerd. The ritual spell card or Cthulhu himself? The Ritual card IS a bit over powered.. I'll limit it to the hand and graveyard. But there still is a freaking huge cost. You have to remove 3 Cultists FROM PLAY, and then remove from play every card that doesn't have Cthulhu in it's name. With those 3 Cultists gone, unless you somehow get them back, you will never be able to summon Cthulhu ever again that duel. Great Cthulhu is as powerful as he is because because he's a demi-God who can make people insane just by looking at him. Read up on some HP Lovecraft if you don't know who he is. Galaxy613
Ok, I've updated my cards and also made a bunch of new ones. I've already printed out and played two games with these cards with 5 real cards making a deck of about 35 cards. I want to make a few more to bring my card count over 40 and then my deck will be done. Please check the first post for information and also the cards and their effects. Scrooge
Haha I like this god,Cthulu. This myth about him being locked up in that city reminds of the myrh of Kronos, the old one. Nice cards by the way.
