xraven13
Hey!!!I think that it would be great that people from this forums and also anyone else that loves card making gathers on IRC.I already have room at irc.scrollrack.com and name of room is #ccg .We usually there make cards, chat, and also duel with out created cards using program Yugioh Virtual Desktop. We also talk general stuff obviously.. But most of the time we talk about card making ^^....So i invite everyone to join us, here i will post tutorial how to do it so you can come. Also, you can use whatever nick you want, but it would be great that you use nick you have on YCM forums so that we can recognize each others. There is already lot of people that gather there and some of them are from here.Cya!!! :) TUTORIAL (its really easy to connect to IRC ): 1. First download program that will enable u to connect to IRC. 2. Run the installer of MIRC once it’s finished downloading. Follow it’s on screen steps to get it installed.3. Run the executable file labeled mirc.exe. NOTE: Registration is not necessary, even after the 30 days. There will be a button that you can click to proceed with MIRC.4. Click on FILE->SELECT SERVER5. On the upper right corner click on ADDHere is what will appear and what you should fill in:• Description: Name of the server (You can write anything)• IRC Server: Type irc.scrollrack.com• Port: 6667 (Default)• Groups: Leave this field blank• Password: Leave this field blank6. Write a nickname you want to use and also your email address ( you can type fake one) and then click on connect11. When you are connected you can register your nickname but it is not necessary if you don’t want to join rooms like #yvd. I would prefer it if you did register your nickname as the server will rename your nick as Guest after a minute. To register your nickname type in down input bar : /msg nickserv register . You will get a confirmation e-mail sent to you. Follow the instructions of the e-mail and your nick will be registered.12. Type /join #ccg then press ENTER and you’re in -> you can also doing even without registering your nickname ;)
