[align=center]AHOA Management/Expansion/Support Thread

 

A History of Ancients is an RPG here on YCM. It is in the vein of MMORPGs, and so will have a constantly updating list of weapons, classes, missions, maps, enemies, etc.

 

The purpose of this thread is to suggest ideas for the expansion of the AHOA Database, and also to apply to Management positions for AHOA.

Yes. Weapons would have:

ATK = Attack

DEF = Defense

WT = Weight (affects SPD, Defense, and ATK)

 

Also, weapons of a certain weight cannot be carried by characters of a certain level.

EXAMPLE

Player A is level 34.

Great Halberd has weight of 35.

Player A cannot use Great Halberd.

 

Player A levels up.

Player A is level 35.

Player A can now use Great Halberd.

Also need magic. Mages need a way to perform spells.

Or would it be better to have that as energy, and also have it drained from battle. When it hits 0, you die. That way, people won't be so quick to cast spells for everything, and the focus on strategy will be greater.

Well here is something I have seen somewhere else not a good version, but a start. You can exp or something like that when you kill a monster. Teammates can team up or be in a group which can support each other, but if they do win a battle then they each get exp divided by the amount of people in the group, but this is a work in progress idea. Still working on it.

I would say that instead of group EXP pools, instead have group support. Groups ghet Trade discounts with each other, and each group controls small sections of the map.

Groups with alliances can cross each other's territory, but enemy groups cannot, and instead are at war with each other.

 

The stories based on those can be one of the sub-plots throught the RPG.
