Amethyst Phoenix Posted March 10, 2009 Report Share Posted March 10, 2009 [align=center]For use with my Reactor Spell cards (found here http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-105788.html)Of course, I've compiled some back story for this particular card and refined the rulings on what will be known as "Reactor Spell Cards". [spoiler=Backstory]A reaction grimoire hold incantations that are based on aspects of emotions. Revenge, Hope, Hatred, Persecution, Joy, Revelation, and so forth. When these feelings are provoked in the presence of a reaction grimoire, their incantation springs to life, casting a powerful spell. Upon the activation of incantation, it can take anywhere from a few hours to several months before it becomes ready for use again. Xypher's sword, Khaross, exudes magical energy at an uncontrollable rate, causing things in close proximity to it with magical potential to absorb some the energy it puts out. As a result, grimoires exposed to Khaross regenerate their incantations faster and ,after prolonged exposure, can even control whether their incantations activate. Although Xyphers does not know it, Khaross can be transformed into its brother, Zierandrus, that has the exact opposite of Khaross: it rapidly absorbs all energy it is exposed to. Due to the nature of Zierandrus, it can only be maintained for a short time before it begins to take too heavy a toll on the wielder's own life force. [spoiler=Reactor Spell Rulings]1. Reactor Spells are kept separate from their deck in their own deck, similar to the extra deck, referreed to as the player's Reaction Grimoire.2. The activation of Reactor Spells is NOT optional, and they may not be negated by any regular spell card's effect.3. The Reaction Grimoire has a limit of 5 cards.4. When the effect of a Reactor Spell has resolved, it is immediately sent to the graveyard. [spoiler=Card Lore (for those with limited/poor eyesight)]This card can only be Ritual Summoned by removing from play monsters in your Deck whose total Levels are equal to 12. You may not conduct your Normal Summon the turn this card was Ritual Summoned. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the activation of Reactor Spell Cards is optional. While this card is face-up on the field, you may Normal Summon it to return every Reactor Spell Card in your Graveyard to your Reaction Grimoire.
