"It's time to figure out my duel." He walked over and got challenged. It took him three moves to finish the other duelist off. He looked at Zeke observing a Jinzo being destroyed. You did win your previous duel, so here's your reward...500 DP. And as for you," he looked towards Brody "Here's 200 DP for participating. Though you get to keep your locater card, a duel's a duel. Have a nice day." And with that the official walked off. "Sweet," said Vent," I'm gonna go see what this is worht here. See ya." And with that, Vent ran off to see what his prize money was worth. The duelist he had seen before had been powerful, but had exited before Koga had had the chance to challenge him. Both of his monsters were wiped out, and his face downs can't help with Jinzo back out on the field. Talk about being screwed over. Within a matter of seconds, Brody's life points had dropped to 0. The duel was over in an instant. "Man I need to get my combos right..." he muttered to himself. He nodded in agreement with Vent's proposal. "Yeah. See ya then. With the small consolation prize he received form the official, he wondered what cards would be worth that much. But he shook off the thought. He opted to save this after more duels. "Whats this?" He picks up a deck. "I could put this to good.... Oh, no!" He dropps the deck and starts running off. "It can't happen again!" Hey, boss... haha "I touched the deck... they're gonna keep following me. WHERE'S BLACKJACK!!!" That little worm? He'll be where you'll be, if you dont accept this little deal. "How many times do I have to tell you that Pyrus is dead?" We havn't given up hope. "Just don't lob another..... oh" From practically out of nowhere a red brick came flying at John's face he did a half backflip (meaninghe landed on his stomach on the way down) kicking the brick in mid-air. There's more where that came from The second brick he deflected with a hidden knife (the flat he didn't cut it in half) and the third he spun and dodged, but the forth caught him in the neck. "If I'm going to try to reach the finals with Vent, I need to come up with a better game plan." he said to himself. It was bad enough that he now has to buy him lunch. I guess I can kill time just by spectating." With that, he walked on over and seated himself at a bench nearby. Maybe he could observe, and get a glimpse of their dueling strategies. That face-down is treated as a Defense Position monster with 1200 DEF points." She further grasped her cards, in anticipation. "I attack your face-down card with Pegasus Natura!" The card shattered. "Here's were it gets interesting. When that card you summoned goes to the Graveyard, Pegasus Natura gains 800 ATK points. Furthermore, I can choose a card from my Deck and send it to the Graveyard. I chose... the field spell Dreamscape... That's where I'll place two cards face-down and end my turn." [spoiler=Cards I Used] When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned, your opponent must place the top card of their Deck onto an unoccupied Monster Card Zone. "Wait, an official?" He took off after the official and when he got there he was taken to a... resort hospital room it looked like... where he was cleaned and bandaged. They told him to rest. Vent ran off and found an official and asked him about the DP. "DP, or Dueling Points, is the currency Mr. Trump provides the duelists to buy food and cards as they stay for the tournament. They are useless outside the tournament, so spend them while you can. Be sure to check in to the Duelist Resort where Mr. Trump lets duelists stay free of charge for the tournament. Also, be sure to tune in to Channel 1 at 9:00 tonight as Mr. Trump will give some important information regarding the tournament." Vent then asked directions for the resort, and went to go check in. He then saw one of the shops that seemed to accept DP. Vent went over and saw the products to see what he could buy with his DP. Then he went to his room to check-in. You're only at the Duelist Resort. I take it you're John. I know you're name because we have a picture and description of every person competing in the tournament. It's a good thing you're here. Now I know you've checked-in to the Duelist Resort." The official gave John the same information he told Vent about the duelist resort. "And remember, at 9:00 tonight, be sure to tune in to Channel 1 on your TV as Mr. Trump will make a special anouncements to all duelists entered in the tournament." Then a nurse came in and talked with the official. "I see. So John, it looks like you're free to go. Your wounds aren't that critical and therefore don't require much attention. Off you go now." He opted to stick around and watch this duel a bit longer. Maybe he could devise a strategy for them if he were go up against them in the future. "I need a duel, if Kaslus wants to bother me he might as well do it while i'm having the littlest of fun. He saw Brody atching a duel, somehow watching an opponents strategy takes out the fun, thats what he thought and came up to brody. "Names John" he said, shaking Brody's hand "You wanna duel?
