IT MUST BE A MALFUNCTION! You're close Nappa. My Card Ratings are out of 8....not 9000 :P I've decided to make this topic because i've recently been getting alot of PMs asking me to rate people's cards due to the fact that I give big detailed ratings. Several times each week (It varies), i'll post a new card(s) here with detailed rates on them. Also, each the end of every month, i'll select the top 3 rated cards and in the "Card Contests" forum, i'll put up a contest. 1st place gets a big reward. 2nd place gets a smaller one, etc. [spoiler=Take a look at my Grading Scale]*Total/Out of 8 Points*8/8 = A+7/8 = A6/8 = B+5/8 = B4/8 = C+3/8 = C2/8 = D+1/8 = D0/8 = F*If a Score has a ".5" in it, the score in that area will range on how well the card fits into certain decks, if you are a respectable member, etc Now lets have a look at some cards. [spoiler=3/14/09 - Fire's Scavenger - By Deadlycreampuff]Image Credit: Marc Scheeff aka Dangermarc (Didn't give from where) OCG Fix: When this card is changed to Defense Position, you can destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls. You cannot use this effect again until your second End Phase after this effect was activated. If you activate this effect, send the topmost card of your Deck to the Graveyard. Copy and Paste that fix into your card. Grading:Picture - 1.5/2OCG - 1.5/2Usefulness - 1/2Balance - 2/2 Total: 6/8Grade: B+ The card's Pic is nice, though 3D pictures aren't really Yugioh-ish. Your OCG actually wasn't that bad. It just needed to be modernized really. Your OCG is equivilent to how cards were worded back in the Game's Genesis (The beginning). The Spell/Trap destruction effect combined with a 3000 ATK beatstick is nice. But the fact that it must be switched to Defense and that it can only be activated every 2 turns takes away from it's usefulness, and yet, adds to it's overall balance. To be honest, it's RARE that cards that I rate have a 2/2 on both Usefulness and Balance. Mostly because if it's 2/2 Useful, it must have a really good effect, but the way to activate is usually insanely easy to take advantage of. Vice-Versa, if Balance was at 2/2, the effect must have some pretty heavy limits, so activating the effect is much harder. So if both were ever at 2/2, consider yourself lucky.
