Rage of PIRI [PG] (Chapter One Up)

First of all, there are at least five different ways to defeat an opponent rather than dueling. To find them out you'll have to read.

 

[spoiler=Prologue]

 

The lights were just too much to take. I fainted, and in front of all those people. But now i'm back on my feet and now, he's all but dead. "Chris. If you didn't want to get hurt you should have stayed back." I stretched out my sword. And did nothing. I looked at Daniel in the Captian Booth.

 

"Kill him" He said "He's not my best, he's worthless now." I couldn't do it though. The Sun shone over our arena, it was early morning but 100 glaring floodlights were cast upon us. The arena was made of soft dirt, so loose it would be easy to lose your life by simply slipping. Covered all over the dirt was the fresh and old blood of a thousand victims. I looked at my captain. Ethan was shaking his head. I gritted my teeth, and did what was perfectly legal in the game of Death, but had only been done once. I shifted, spun around, and in milliseconds Daniel had a curved dagger wedged in his chest. "I never had liked you." It was easy, all I had done was throw my dagger as I was shifting and then decieved him by spinning around. He fell to the ground. "I win." The courage in me had leaped sky high, if I could do that I could do it to everyone on his team. Until they started coming at me with swords, sadly, this was legal too.

 

"Get out of there!" Ethan was screaming. I didn't need to know I couldn't fight them all. I grabbed Chris and hauled him over my shoulder, I buckled under his weight.

 

"Leave him!" It was Ethan again.

 

"I can't." I yelled back. The other team would be on me. Thats when Ethan did the worst possible thing he could've done. He charged.

 

"Ethan!" I yelled but it was too late, my brother was fighting all of them at once. "No!" I had to get him to retreat.

 

"Get back here!" It was Charlie Mann from our team. I ran as hard as I could. Then I heard a scream.

I was walking along the buildings, man was I jumpy. "If I delay any longer Charlie might leave..." Eventually I came to the building where I was headed. It was on the corner of the block and was the last place we could act casual, we felt safe here. there he was. "Hey Charlie" I said as if I wasn't sure it was him.

 

"Hey, man." Charlie Mann must have been up all night, his voice sounded tired.

 

"We going in" I asked

"Yeah."

"What are we doing."

"Talking to our division leader."

"Lee? He hasn't even come to one of our matches since before I joined up."

"Yeah but the attack by PIRI caught his attention."

"Whatever you say."

 

We went in the building called 'The H Society'. We never had figured out what that meant yet. We took the elevator up to the ninth floor. When we emerged Lee Hemp was sitting at his desk, I guess we would look out of place except for he was wearing jeans, a t-shirt and a leather jacket.

 

"I've been waiting." It was then Lee stood up and I noticed the two schmitars dangling at his waist. "Oh, these?" He noticed my gaze. "I using these in, let's say, 45 seconds.

 

"What!" I yelled as we both ran to the opposite wall.

 

"Not on you" He said, "On my friend Titan."

 

"I've heard of him" Charlie said, "Stupid PIRI solder."

 

"10..9..8..7..6..5..4...." Lee seemed excited then a huge robotic organism crashed from the ceiling. Lee jumped into battle.

 

Titan was part of organization PIRI, they use highly poisonous weapons (never bullets thank god.) to kill us. The Society H. Titan had a long, steel sword, you could never tell the poison.

 

Lee never used his schmitars, he just punched Titan in the head (he's in man shape) and then did karate kicks until he lost his balance, fell 9 stories down, and hit the ground.

 

"Wow," Charlie was in a state of total awe. "You got some moves."

 

"Is this all you brought us here for?" My voice was shrill with disbelief.

 

"No," Lee said "That would be showboating, I brought you here because the helicopters that attacked us at the arena are organizing search parties, so stay out of these areas.”

 

He handed us each a map of some sort, it had areas marked with yellow, gray, and red. The yellow was completely safe for now, the gray was lightly patrolled and only every now & then, but the red you had to completely avoid.

 

Charlie was sent to find Chris, who disappeared a few days after the arena incedant. It had been a whole two months but they just wouldn’t give up.

 

I was sent with Lee to find Ethan, he was n the run from a few of Titan’s brothers.

 

I guess I have some explaining to do, the screaming was when the helicopter appeared, Ethan had been completely fine. We set off and looked ‘till 6:00. Lee and I met up with Charlie, who had successfully found Chris.

 

“I got chased by Titan, but I heard he was destroyed.” Chris said

“Rumors must travel fast, but yes, Lee beat him.” I said

 

Charlie was staring at something, or somebody, in the distance.

 

Lee, who had the best eyes knew first, “Titan!”

 

“How is he still alive?” shouted Chris

 

From somewhere unknown a voice shouted, “It’s harder than it looks ain’t it?”

 

Ethan leapt from a top of a shed, he took out a huge bazooka and started firing shot for shot.

 

“Where’d you get that?” I yelled, I was curious more than happy.

 

“I have my connections.” He said back

 

Titan hadn’t died from the bazooka, instead we all took him on, imagine a huge flurry of swords, whenever Ethan shot we all jumped back. After awhile we jumped back the final time as Ethan blew a sixth projectile.

Titan fell to the ground, it was over, finally, I looked around and found that Charlie was wounded, but not from the venomous swords but he didn’t jump back in time for a bazooka shot. Other than that we were fine.

 

“Dead is dead, and you’re dead” Ethan said triumphantly, walking up and yanking a cord from Titan, and that’s when Titan exploded, it was ashy and confusing, I looked over and saw Chris was still alive, then I blacked out.

I have the rights to be pissy when it comes to fanfics. Text blocks have been proven to hurt the eyes of someone who reads it, and are one of the major things that are pointed out as a "bad thing" on FF.net.
