Sparta™
I never thought of it like that. But it would be better if they would still cut down on bashing. -.-

Sparta™
that can only work if we change our ways too It is also among what got us into this mess. I didn't quite get that. Can you say it in better grammar? Which were you talking about, the republican congress thing or the European bashing?

ragnarok1945
it's not about that. It's the fact they see us as knowing absolutely NOTHING about their situation, but because we're more powerful militarily, they think we get the impression we can order them to do whatever we want and they must obey (the seed of that had been planted firmly since 1945)

They get the impression they want us to make them do whatever we want, (anger) and we have a strong military? ragnarok1945
They get the impression we want them to go whatever we tell them to, they must blindly obey. Look everyone wants to be the #1 power in the world, but there's only one place for it. Plenty are willing to do anything to get that power away from us. A lot of European powers feel we've abused the power for FAR too long.

Sparta™
and then Bush who screwed up everything. Some of them are hoping we DO become a 3rd world country when this is over with It wasn't Bush. The democratic congress came in, and they told him to sign this bill if he wanted supplies for he Iraq war. Sadly he HAD to sign it, if he wanted to win the war. The democrats got us in this mess, and they know it. That bill had got us into crisis. And don't blame Bush for signing it, the democrats threatened and knew it would get us where we are today. Now if only the democrats will obey the saying "you got us into the mess' date=' you get us out"[/b'] Finally somebody says it!!! I've been waiting a long time on this site to hear those words!! This wouldn't have happened if there were no Barney Frank, or Harry Reed. Even though we're going through some bad stuff with Obama, some stuff might clear up. For example, free health care. Even though Americans need to work for it, it's gonna help us through times like this.

You made us where we are today, you should be proud of what your men grew from a small colony in Jamestown, into this country. And we don't have a great History. Much of our history is about war and violence. Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War I, World War II, The Vietnam War, Dessert Storm, shall I explain more? Here is an example of the great things of Britain. You had destroyed the French and Indians in the French and Indian war, you were an unstoppable force at a time, The English won the French and Indian War, Your English men proved that they could stand anything through the Jamestown colony, you have Britain's Got Talent, Some of the most intelligent men were English, ect. The people who rub our history in Britains faces are very few. You and all of Britain know that. You know that's not what we stand for. All men are treated equally. We never treat one group of people better than the other one. Little in America are like that.
ragnarok1945
the problem is as the only superpower in the world today, we always see ourselves as being right no matter what the circumstances are. It is the reason why many of us feel despite the history of violence, it was all justified, whereas other countries' violence is not.

We never treat one group of people better than the other one. Little in America are like that. Ok, let me rephrase what i said. YOU LIVE IN A COUNTRY THAT HAS DESTROYED ITSELF. You think why are we calling you idiots, when you forget the fact that you voted that idiot George Bush to become your presedent. Your country isn't a bad country, its a great country, yet only its reputation has been destroyed by idiots (not including you or any other americans on this site) Plus, the other reason we don't really like you is because you take most of the credit for World War II, when we should be getting most of it. You might think "I don't say that....." and i agree, YOU don't, because your not stupid, but the people who run your country do, and thats what makes us sick of you. Im sorry if thats offensive but you wanted to know the truth, plus, i don't belive any of the above; i would love to come to America one day. ragnarok1945
That's among the major problems Europe has with the US today, Soul Legacy. After the war was over, we understood absolutely nothing about how Europe works (and even today we understand little). But since we're the most powerful, we had the impression that substituted for understand when it obviously didn't. The US only looked at the short term of the war, it never bothered to consider what will happen AFTER the war like the UK did.
