Amethyst Phoenix
Alot of people seem to be saying google or yahoo for their image credit. I find that hilarious, as google and yahoo are not sources. They are search engines. The actual source, is the website the image comes from. But, then again, it's REALLY hard to copy/paste the URL right under the image >_> Discuss
The_Prince_of_Death
I must agree with you. Ive found pics on google before and used them for a card that I never post. though sometimes when you look for a pic and it starts to give you the web site when you click on it. it says error but allows you to view the pic. its happend to me many times in the past when I've been looking up pics for my humanities class. Dark
Many times you save a picture for a card that you do not make at the same time, and when you use the picture you don't remember the website, so you credit Google. Often times people who get their pics from a Hentai site credit Google as not to tarnish their reputation, though I hardly see how that matters. Cyber Altair
I agree, it's really hard. Once I tried to copy and paste it but google bit me =[
Kale
crediting the artist is really hard. i found a set that i made before the strict enforcement of the image rule, and i had to find all the original artists. granted i did. ;) how hard is it for people to get the art link the first time if i can get it 3 months later? -.-
Guest Star
Why does it matter? Giving image credit for Yu-Gi-Oh Cards that no one is ever going to sell outside of maybe a shop on a Forum based on a Children's Card Game seems pretty stupid to me. If I make an image, and people want to use it for a Yu-Gi-Oh Card, that's perfectly fine. As long as they don't claim it as their own. I don't care if they give me credit; it's not like they're using it for anything important. It's the internet.

I understand what you're saying, but it's not like people are trying to sell the cards. A disclaimer should be enough. Regardless, asking for permission is just stupid. You should easily be able to use the image without having to ask permission.

Although I have talked to some people that think it is stupid. I don't mind crediting the artist, but providing a link or asking for permission is just stupid when you're using it for a Yu-Gi-Oh Card.

Lazer Yoshi
I still don't see why DA gets all over our images. XDIt's using images on a Card Maker that a few people know of. It's not like it'll spread through the internet like a giant tub of butter.Oh, and Google / Yahoo seems like an OK Source IMO.

OMGAKITTY
lol, I find the picture and make the card at the same time.... So I've always been able to credit. The permission thing was a pain. I understood why it was there, but it was a huge pain.
