[align=center]It was used in a 1-on-1 against BludMonkey, as some of you may know.

Effect:

This card is also treated as a Zombie and Spellcaster-Type monster. When this card is Summoned, destroy all face-down monsters on the field. Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1, you can pay 1000 Life Points to place 1 Corruption Fang Counter on 1 Monster Card Zone on your opponent's field. As long as this card remains on the field, monsters cannot be Set in Monster Card Zones with Corruption Fang Counters on them. All monsters Summoned in Monster Card Zones with Corruption Fang Counters on them are treated as Zombie-Type monsters. If this card is attacked by a Zombie-Type monster your opponent controls and destroys the attacking monster by battle, the Battle Damage inflicted to your opponent is doubled. If this card is removed from the field, remove all Corruption Fang Counters from the field.

It starts off okay, then takes a really hard trail downward.

I'm out of the loop on some new OCG wordings, so I'm unsure. Would it be treated as all three Types while in the Deck, hand, and Graveyard, or only on the field? That truly impacts a LOT of this card's potential.

I'll do the nice thing and assume that it is, in fact, treated as such at all times, in correspondence with... nothing but my assumption.

If this assumption is wrong, disregard the next 4 sentences, and lower the rating by 1.

I don't understand why it needs to be a Fiend-type unless being fodder for the Sky Scourges, Dark Necrofear, Hate Buster and Raviel is that important. Fiends suck. With these additional types, it now has access to/compatability with Magical Dimension, Secret Village of Spellcasters, Magical Exemplar, Book of Life, Pyramid Turtle, Mezuki, all of that great stuff.

So now it has bunches of ways to be Summoned to the field. By using any of these methods, you pull off the best effect of the card, the "When this card is Summoned, destroy all face-down monsters." line. It comes with no Summon restriction, and begs you to abuse it as a walking Nobleman of Crossout. That's grand.

If you ignore everything beyond the first two lines, you have a great monster. But wait! There's [a lot] more! We still have face-up monsters for our 2500 beatstick to take care of! How does he plan on doing this? Well, to tell the truth, he doesn't have a plan.

You can pay 1000 Life Points to "corrupt" 1 Monster Card Zone. Despite all of the valiant effort put into this effect and all of the lovely things it does with its "built in control engine," it's really useless.

As much as I wanted to see some point to this card, I immediately lost all hope as a single card came to mind that does what this card wants to do, but infinitely better. Zombie World.

Let's compare.

Corazzato Vampiro

- Affects 1 monster card zone at a time.

- Costs 1000 Life Points per monster card zone.

- Can only be done once per turn.

- Does not affect monsters already sitting on a monster card zone.

- Monsters cannot be Set on affected Card Zones.

- Can only be done on Main Phase 1. =(

Zombie World

- Affects the entire field [and Graveyards, even].

- Costs no Life Points.

- Affects all currently existing monsters, enabling an element of surprise when you want to suddenly convert all of your opponent's monsters.

- Prevents the Tribute Summon of any non-Zombie-type monsters.

- Can be used during Main Phase 1 or 2! =D

Wow, so we're basically looking at the comparison between not being able to Set monsters in the affected Zone versus not being able to Tribute Summon any non-Zombie monsters. Oh wait, I can just Set monsters in other monster card zones! I can dodge an effect that spends 1000 Life Points to try and control me, but I have no way around a single Field Spell [save destroying it, which applies to both].

If I'm a player that is honestly bad enough to let you keep this on the field for 5 turns and waste 5000 Life Points to lock down all 5 of my Monster Card Zones, I either deserve to lose or deserve to laugh hilariously as I keep a Hammer Shot/Fissure in my hand, then play it to destroy this and undo all of the work you did and capitalize on all of the Life Points you lost.

The second-to-last effect is really bad. Why did you find it necessary to restrict the effect to when he's attacked BY a corrupted zone monster? What monster would attack into him to purposely take damage? That doesn't make a single bit of sense.

Did you expect to get attacked by a Blue-Eyes White Dragon (that an opponent would for some reason Summon into a Corrupted Zone) to run into your face-down Shrink, forcing them to take 2000 damage? Seriously, this is unnecessarily weak.

Why not double the damage whenever he battles a Corrupt Zone monster? That way you can actually make use of the first 1000 Life Points you have to pay to start anything genuinely useful with this. Corrupt a Zone that a monster is sitting in, then kill it off and double the damage. You're at LEAST getting some trade-off for the Life Points you have to pay, since it doesn't do any harm to the opponent during your turn. You're paying 1000 Life Points, then hoping your opponent will play into your setup.

This card stopped being good after the second sentence. The rest of the effect text is a hopeless attempt at controlling, if I can even call it that, the field. It seems like this was made by someone who was frustrated by Flip Effect monsters and wanted to make a fancy way of getting rid of them. The first two lines do that well, then the rest just makes the effect text unrealistically long.

Not good. The picture is nifty, though.

4/10.
