Ever heard of a television pitch? You're gonna pitch me an idea for the card archetype of the main character of the fanfic I'm writing. The winner gets 5 reps, and their idea will be used.

Here's the form:

Archetype Name:
Archetype Inspiration:
Monster Types: (Plant, Spellcaster, etc.)
Monster Attributes: (FIRE, WATER, etc.)
Effect Theme:
Aesthetic Theme: (visual appearance)
1 or 2 Examples:

1) NO TUNERS/SYNCHROS! They won't be used!

2) I'm biased towards EARTH/DARK/LIGHT and/or Warriors/Machines.

End date is March 30. If I don't find something until then, I'll extend it a week.

Archetype Name: Ancient Keeper

Archetype Inspiration: Lightsworn, Dark Hunter

Monster Types: (Plant, Spellcaster, etc.): Perhaps a beast, Fiend or Dragon. But mainly Warriors

Monster Attributes: (FIRE, WATER, etc.) Earth

Effect Theme: Their abilities are based upon the amount of cards in your deck. They usually have weak effects that activated with a large variety in amount of cards, and one rather powerful one that only activates at a specific number of cards in your deck (e.g. 25), and if you're lucky an ability that doesn't need that at all (few and far between though, i'd imagine). As such, it has plenty of deck thinning and fattening, mainly by spell cards but a few monsters have the ability to fatten your deck when it is low. To make up for deck fattening usually making the card you need harder to get to, most of the more powerful monsters can be summoned from the hand or deck when specific conditions are met.

One thing to note is that they can only have one of their abilities, and if it has an ability with a specific amount of cards as well as one with X or greater/less, the one that requires a specific amount wins out (Consider it in the card 'rulings').

Aesthetic Theme: (visual appearance) They usually have an old, weak Appearance for the lower-level ones, who can rise up to the occasion. The higher level ones look fierce and deadly, not showing their age at all usually. The only 'point' that may show the age is their large height.

1 or 2 Examples:

Ancient Keeper - Rowlan

Level 4

Earth

Warrior

ATK: 1600

Def: 200

Eff: Depending on the amount of cards in your deck, this card gains the appropriate effect:

:40 or more: Increase this card's attack by 1000

:39 or less: When this card is destroyed by a card effect, you can Special Summon one Level 4 or less monster with "Ancient Keeper" in their name from your deck to the field (Except "Ancient Keeper - Rowlan).

:22: When this card is removed from the field, remove it from play and Special Summon one "Ancient Keeper" monster from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

Ancient Arena

Field Spell

Increase the attack and defense of all "Ancient Keeper" monsters by 300. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase you can pay 600 Life Points to select any number of cards from your deck, these cards are excluded from your deck count until your next Standby Phase. As long as an "Ancient Keeper" monster remains face-up on the field, this card cannot be destroyed by a card effect.

And this can be yours for $19.95!

...oh wait, wrong television pitch...

Well, sorry for the bad OCG, and good luck for the contest!

I'm hoping these can be already made cards. I just recently created a new Archetype, so I'll submit that.

Archetype Name: Caster [i.e. Caster Soldier (not an actual card)

Archetype Inspiration: Not really sure, to be honest. It just came to me.

Monster Types: Spellcaster

Monster Attributes: DARK

Effect Theme: They each have two effects. One of the effects is always different on each card, but one remains the same, and that is "When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, draw 1 card."

Aesthetic Theme: (visual appearance) They look completely different, but the second part of their name matches their image.

1 or 2 Examples:

I've included four examples instead of two, to give you a better look at the Archetype as a whole. Caster Knight is the "boss" monster. All of the "Caster" monsters are DARK Level 4 Spellcaster-Type monsters. That is another part of the theme.
