Rather short... And yet I'm still hooked. Can't wait for the plot to start unfurling. Good luck with this!

 

Oh, and Writers block... Such a deadly foe...

 

Aaaand I love adding characters! So I'll make one and see if they get in. If not... Aahh well, I'll read on anyway.

 

Name: Kamau Gazini

Age: 25

Species: Human

Appearance: A rather nondescript appearance. He has light brown hair and twinkling blue eyes that almost seem to be able to turn cold as ice when it's 'business'. His outfit usually matches the area to look either inconspicuous, or camouflage. He does have scars from close encounters, but they have either been treated and healed, or covered in make-up.

Desired Career: Assassin

Personality: Rather cold when it's about 'business', but usually hides it under a cheerful demeanor.

 

Bio: Living a simple life in an obscure backwater planet, he lived a rather average life. He went to school and was did rather well, but in kindergarten and year 1-2 he was constantly surpassed by a kid called Ahti, who later was discovered to have force talent and went to the Jedi Academy, narrowly making it before he would usually have been deemed 'too old' for training.

Slightly irritated by not being able to get his revenge, Kamau intensified his studying for a time, only to realize after seeing a mugging happen that what would the intelligence mean when it came to power? With that, his marks dropped and he began learning how to kill. Silently, efficiently, in hand to hand combat and blasters. Despite this, he would still learn, and while he didn't work as hard, he still remained a decent student. He never went to University however, and decided to become an Assassin, with slight Bounty Hunter tendency's, as it wasn't always a 'kill' he did. The first few missions went surprisingly well, thanks to a mix of luck and skill, and began earning him a name and a reputation. The later missions became hit-and-miss, but overall he has done well.

 

Other: Perhaps his main interest is to prove himself 'greater' then a Jedi, possibly stemming from his childhood, disliking their natural superiority. He often goes for Jedi on a 'lower price' for this, despite common sense saying it should be the opposite. He isn't quite as successful as he wants, but that may change. This doesn't mean he wouldn't turn down help from a Jedi though, merely that in a Jedi's presence he would redouble his efforts to looking impressive.
