The leafs dancing in the night air as Tite Sarutobi strolled along, gazing into the moonlit night he wondered he wondered about Kira about how the crime rate fell about how much better life was breathing in the misty air he continued to reminisce with himself he had noticed himself he had noticed how crime and villainy seeped back in slowly with small robberies and harassment eventually coming back to the tip it was shrugging he swung his head down in a fast motion staring at the rough gritty pavement glancing at shop after shop until his eyes met something, a pile of leafs in the corner but it was not the leafs a book a small note book which read in golden letters The Notebook Of Life curious as ever Tite walked up to this notebook and stared he just stared nothing more for five minutes his eyes not moving not meeting something else he reached his hand out slowly to pick it up his hand shivering hesitating but eventually picked it up continuing his journey home he stared at it flicking through the empty book until he got to the back of the tattered book it read clearly How to Use It - Tite hesitated to read any further “how to use it ?” he questioned him self Tite was the kind of person to think things through all ways no matter how unlikely or insignificant he continued to use this notebook write a persons name inside the notebook the persons name that you write in here will be expanded by the amount of years you specify you must have the face in your mind as well therefore people sharing the same name will not be affected. Tite stopped what a load of garbage he couldn’t believe he was reading this, opening the door to his apartment and slamming it shut he reached for the metallic lighter on the wooden polished desk of his room he shrugged himself into his sofa fiddling with the lighter to amuse himself then his eyes meeting the notebook heh he chuckled and began to slowly melt the notebook watching it twist and flutter as it melted and malted into different shapes until he started to hear a ringing his eyes widened his pupils dilated until he started to hear a disgusting foul “hyuk, hyuk, hyuk” in the background getting louder until a beast no a demon appeared in front of him the huge disgusting creature with a distorted body and spiky green hair his skin blotchy and pale and covered in chains and skulls “w-who are you” Tite stammered struggling to get on his feet he yelled out “NO! what are you” hyuk, hyuk, hyuk the creature cackled I am a Shinigami Sh-Shinigami Tite gasped Shinigami don’t exist you cant be here he exclaimed, “you see me here don’t you” the beast continued but no you shouldn’t be no… look my name is Ryuuk and before you even start your gasping and wheezing let me explain to you why I’m here okay! He said lunging himself into Tite’s face. Like I said my name is Ryuuk and I’m a Shinigami and you see that notebook there he said pointing to the remaining ashes and malted paper of the notebook “It was yours, I… I’m.. I’m SO SORRY PLEASE DON’T KILL ME” he screamed interrupting Ryuuk “God your nothing like the last one are you so cowardly and squeamish you destroyed it and guess what he said grinning, it had to be “what” Tite replied anxiously well back in the Shinigami realm that notebook was ordered to be destroyed by me it was the last of its kind but techniquly in the Shinigami realm the law is any human in the human realm who destroys a Notebook Of Life must gain ownership of a Notebook of Death hyuk, hyuk, hyuk “you mean, you mean you tricked me” that’s right he replied grinning but how did you know I would destroy it Tite questioned ?. “well Iv been watching you Tite you see I used to enjoy watching a human called Light he used the death note he used it a lot killing thousands of people reigning as a god over a new world” wh-what Tite exclaimed “oh you better know him as Kira” Ryuuk cackled Kira you mean yup that’s how he did it Ryuuk replied but its not as easy as it may of seemed the boy was a genius who you know as L and went up against another and was eventually trapped by the geniuses legacy who you also know as N I found you interesting because you go about day after day leading your office life thinking about how crime rate as gone up right and I wanted to see wanted to see what you would do if you were to be given the power the power to change it all of a sudden Ryuuk started cackling again hyuk, hyuk, hyuk what now Tite snapped I said you worked in a office didn’t I but I know the truth Tite that is the real reason why I picked you I know you have access to N I know all about you and the FBI hyuk, hyuk, hyuk.
