R3DN30N
Hello and this is for noobs or for people who want to get better at GIMP banners. First get an image (recommended from photobucket) make sure its a png. Next goto new and make 400 x 150 (reccomended). Next goto filters , renders and mess around with it I reccomend using Flame, or Plasma. Next copy your image, move it around, add text and congrats you've made your first banner (or a better one hopefully). Have fun and always experiment with the filters! ŞťřïЖЄѓ™
Using GimpRessesionist, White layers set to overlay and other colour layers set to overlay, I can make a much better banner than this tutorial lets you make. But for a star two, it's better than nothing because even some five star thirteen year olds can't work out how to use GIMP, so you have done a good job, but not excellent.
